I love this great mult-cooker/steamer!! It meets and exceeds all of my expectations!
It boils, steams, sautees, roasts, deep fries and slow cooks. Cooks a large variety of foods to perfection! The break-away heat control is a real safety advantage!
I also like the see-thtough tempered glass lid that lets you see the food being cooked without alwsays having to take it off the cooker!
Great for the hot summer months too, because it won't heat up your kitchen like your stove's gas or electric burners will!

I bought this probably over 2 years ago, but we only use it occasionally, like once every 3 months. The pot itself held up well, and is easy to clean. However, the handle wore out rather quickly. The screw/connector broke where it attaches the handle to the basket, . Then the area where the double prongs slide up and down the basket - the hole they are in - started to bend out of shape so the prongs kept sliding out (Burn Hazard!!) until the basket is so warped in that area, that the handle will not stay in at all. I attribute this to either poor design, or wrong materials to stand up to the handling, shaking and dumping of items. Otherwise, I like it.

I have had this multi cooker for at least 10 years. We only use it as a fryer. I don't have any complaints about it. It has worked GREAT for the frying that we use it for.

I like to use this unit to slowcook roasts as well as make things like sausage&peppers. The non-stick coating has flaked off pretty significantly! Perhaps they should find a way to make the non-stick coating stick to the pot. ;-) Unless you want flakes of coating in your food, avoid this product.
