Features advanced statistics and financial functions including TVM, cash flows and amortization. Displays 8 lines of 16 characters each on 64x96-pixel LCD. Other features include simultaneous view of equation, graph, and coordinates; advanced statistics and regression analysis; scatter, x y-line, box-and-whisker, histogram and normal probability plots; interactive solving equation for different variables; graph-table split screen. Four AAA batteries, backup CR1616 battery and I/O port with unit-to-unit link cable included. Connects to IBM or Macintosh for editing, storing and printing with Graph Link cable/software package(sold separately). 184K+ available memory. No. TI-83 Plus. Imported.

I've used this calculator for a calculus and statistics class. The calculator makes doing my homework much easier and quicker. I am able to check a lot of my answers just by using this.The large screen is great as well The TI 83+ is a bit hard to figure out if you're not used to it though. It is expensive, so if you only need it for one class I'd get it used.
