My daughter loves this toy. We bought this for her for Christmas and she can't get enough of it. Unlike many toys in her age bracket, the buttons respond to a lighter tough making it easy for her to interact with. The lighted panels prompt her to touch and explore. She just loves the music and has begun to "sing" with it. What's more is that it has rounded rubber corners making it both safe and durable. I highly recommend it!

Many toys in today's market are just TOO LOUD for young ears. Be careful what toys you give your children! We've taken to putting clear tape over the speakers of noise-making toys...something you can't do with this one since a) the sound is multi-directional and b) it is just waay too loud for young ones! (It was too loud for me!) If there was volume control, this toy would be PERFECT...

This has been my son's favorite toy since birth. It's one of the only toys that will make him stop crying and smile in an instant. Now that he is 6mo he loves to sit up and push the buttons himself. It IS loud, but he loves it... so I love it! :)

I bought this toy for my 9 month old for Christmas. She Loves It! My 2.5 year old also loves it! It is easy to push and instantly hear music. I wish I would've bought it sooner. The music is nice and we haven't got tired of hearing it yet:).

My brother got this for my 9-month old for Christmas. I thought it was going to sit and collect dust because I thought my daughter surely wasn't going to be interested in a square. Well, I was sure wrong! My daughter LOVES music, and this cube plays classical shorts. The cool thing is that you can play the whole orchestra (the 5 instruments on the cube) or you can play only one instrument... then add a second, and a third, etc. Very nice for isolating different sounds in songs and for learning about the sounds of different instruments. The cube plates also light up and blink when it is playing. My daughter also just likes to flip the cube over and over. Very nice toy!

I'm a great-grandmother to eight - mostly babies. My little ones enjoy this toy and have not been able to break it. The tiniest babies like to watch it and the older ones delight in making it twinkle and play music. The oldest great-grandkids have thrown this toy a few times and it survived unharmed. Even some of the younger grandkids a(8, 9 and 11) play with this sometimes. Two neighborhood children, ages 3 and 4, also like it. The 3 yo ask to play with it often.

We got this second hand from friends for my son's 1 year bday and we absolutely loved it. He was fascinated, and the way you can put instruments in or take them out is really neat, and the sounds aren't annoying like most toys. We finally destroyed it (but I think we left the panel off when changing the battery, then crushed it or something equally stupid) and were so sad. It is actually quite durable with the rubberized corners. I am psyched to have found it again! This is an awesome toy and I will be getting us another one and one for all of my friends whose kids are having birthdays soon.

I received this toy as a second-hand gift from a relative who bought it over 5 years ago. It works wonderfully and my 3 month old daughter loves it. The music keeps her attention and she enjoys watching it light up as it plays. I highly recommend this toy!

I recieved this as a gift for my first child, and she loved it. A friend came over and her younger child loved it so much, she asked to borrow it. As my daughter was growing out of it (she was 3), we gave it to her. Now we have another one on the way, and I plan on buying it myself if we don't recieve it as a gift.

As a few have said, this thing is LOUD LOUD LOUD. At first it hurt MY ears (and even my husband's who listens to loud music all day) to be in the same room as it, but I did get used to it after a while. I was so concerned about my son's hearing that I was wary of giving it to him.

But he loves it. Its his #1 absolute favorite toy and the classic melodies don't grate on your nerves nearly as quickly as some children's music.

Its very durable. He kicks the buttons, sits on it, crawls over and over it and it still works great.
