I purchased this toy for my 18 month old daughter about 6 months ago. She playes with it everyday and has yet to become bored with it. It also still looks new despite the several times I found her chewing on pieces.

The toy has also improved my daughter hand-eye coordination form her using the hammer and she is now able to easily unscrew water bottle caps and other twist off caps from using the nuts and bolts as practice.

If you like wooden toys, this one is great. It holds up very well and my kids and their friends have been playing with it for 3 years. Tools work well.

I recently ordered this tool box for my almost 2 year old son and almost 3 year old daughter. It isn't one of the most glamorous toys or toolboxes, but I think I'm learning that it's the simple things that really keep my kids busy. I'm always looking for "something to keep minds & fingers busy" and this does the trick. They both love it! Would highly recommend this, along with all Melissa & Doug products.
