worth it for the cup alone

It's a take on Pampered Chef's adjustable measuring cup. It's really handy for things like peanut butter or shortening that you would otherwise have to scrape out of a measuring cup. You can just load it in there and pop it out. The one I got years ago from P.C. was good, but the plastic didn't age well. So this one is the one I'd recommend getting. I like to put them in with some other things to make a bakeware gift for wedding presents.

I too enjoy this piece. I have found that it is better for thicker items. I love the very accurate measuring and all the measurements it gives. I don't use this often for pure liquids though. I find that it leaks almost everytime. But agree that it is great for things like PB or crisco.

Loved this set. The plunger-like cup is great for baking with peanut butter, jam and the like. The spoons also come apart for washing which is an improvement over the last adjustable set I owned. Very happy with them.
