We received this as a Christmas gift this past year. I absolutely love it! It's very lightweight and handy. The sides expand to fit your sink. However, the colander I have actually has foam coating around the edges. Cleans well in the dishwasher.

DO NOT buy this UNLESS you like your strained noodles all over the counter/floor!!! The oblong shape is bad, because after draining the water and you want to place your noodles back into a pot, it's so wide that the noodles slide over the edges. I thought it was a good idea at first, because it seemed hands-free. Not worth the headaches and on more than one occassion. I'm pitching this and buying a circular one!!!

Great size, fits over the sink like you want it too, but doesn't hold its shape well. Also, sort of difficult to hand wash. The metal piece that goes around the top is not close enough to the mesh, so when you turn the basket to the side to pour out things will get stuck in there and are really hard to get out. Not good for me.
