I bought over 200 of these hangers and within two months found out that they were infested with a strange wood destroying organism (beetle). I just moved into a brand new house two months ago and now have to get it tented to eliminate these pests from my house. They ate all the way through some of the hangers so that they were so brittle they literally broke in half. Save your house DO NOT buy these!

These are just like any other wood hangers you would buy in bulk other places, I just really wanted the dark finish. Unfortunately, these are not in stores, so shipping is as always the downside.

I love dark wood. I love that all my hangers match. Sturdy. Good price, i did a price look up, great price, but the shipping will get you on these.

I had registered for these hangers online and was happy to learn someone had bought them for me and my husband. When we unpacked them into our new home and put them in the closet, it just made the closet look very sophisticated. The hangers were beautiful. I probably will buy some more as I can't compare these with my old hangers and I need my coat closet too look sophisticated too.

I came online to order my 5th set of these quality hangers and was surprised to come across the review regarding a beetle infestation (?!). Having placed the different orders over the course of 18-months and never having encountered any problem of the kind, it leads one to wonder if it wasn't more likely that some of the timber used in the gentleman's new home might have been infested rather than the hangers, which were in turn sought out by the wood beetles??

I've had these hangers for a few months and have been very happy with them. I was looking for a dark wood hanger with a silver-colored hook to match my Elfa shelving system w/dark wood facia, though few stores still sell this combination (Target was much less than the store I bought my Elfa shelving from that also had the hangers). I was also specifically looking for wood hangers that allowed me to screw the hooks deeper into the wood frame, reducing hanging height for more hanging flexibility in my closet and luckily they allowed me to do this! FYI, the hanger arms do not angle out from the center (the hanger is flat), the tips of the chrome hooks are curled back upwards, and the round rods have groves in them for extra grip. Note that wood hangers take ~40% more width than plastic hangers, which was a surprise the depth added up so much, but is probably better for your shirts and I'm happy I switched.

I purchased these hangars for my guest closet. I didn't want the cheap plastic hangars or wire hangars cutting into my company's nice coats. They really jazzed up the closet. If it weren't for the high shipping cost, I would order more of these and give them 5 stars. They are good quality.

STOP!!!! Before you spend extra money for dark wood hangers, purchase these hangers and you can not go wrong. These hangers are beautiful and can compete with any designer expensive hangers on the market. You are sure to be please.
