I bought this as a gift and unfortunately my dad did not let me know that the tape deck never worked properly to begin with. This, of course, was after the 90 day return policy expired. Customer service "connected" me with the manufacturer's dept and I was on hold for 10 mins before hanging up. Then, I tried using the automated system and kept getting amazing technology instead of coby. SO my last resort is to get my father who is not knowledgeable about these things to try and find the owners manual for something that he's had for just a little over 90 days to contact the manufacturer. Some birthday gift!

Never heard anything this horrible. How could it have worse sound than my laptop? If you are too much of a music lover and need some distance, this will do you the trick.

ordered this for my classroom and all it did was eat the tapes. [...]
target.com was great about the return and giving me the $ back to buy something a bit more pricey for the classroom.
