I have been looking for a stainless steel set for several months and absolutely love this set. It is heavy duty, the encapsulated bottom makes for even heating and the handles make it easy to hold (not too heavy). I thought the food might stick to the skillets, as the interiors are stainless, but soaking them for a very short time releases all the food residue. Because I am the owner of 2 large parrots, I need to stay away from non-stick coatings, as they are toxic (if allowed to burn dry) and will kill birds. I highly recommend this set.

I received this set for Christmas. I am enjoying every minute using them. They are so heavy duty, which causes great heat distribution and being able to turn the stove down. Mine have glass lids which keeps you from having to take the lid off to check on things. I really like that. And they clean up nicely.

My husband and I just received this set as a housewarming gift. I was so excited! We cooked our first meal yesterday and the quality is noncomparable. There are so many positives to the product. The handles are comfortable and heat resistant, there is no teflon coating so you can use all types of utensils without damaging the surface, they are all heavy duty and have great heat distribution. I highly recommend this product!

Overall, this is a great cookset. It heats evenly and the padded handles provide great grip. The biggest problem we have had is that the pans actually do get very hot and are not non-stick, as you might imagine. This makes cleaning very difficult sometimes. Also, they aren't machine washable. Note that when they do get something stuck on them, they stain fairly easily and likewise scratch easily when you are cleaning. So, overall, even though our pans haven't kept their "new" appearance and are difficult to clean sometimes, they are very good pans. I used cheap pans in college, and you can really tell a difference with higher end cooksets.

Researched this purchase, wanted something solid and safe. Had most of the features I wanted, was concerned about flaking teflon. Now I wonder why I waited so long to spend the money and buy a good set of pots and pans, hopefully I will be able to afford to add to the set.

i purchased this cookware set while i was gone on military duty for a loved one back home because we had just moved into our first apartment together and didnt have decent cookware. So i know i needed something at a good price and it had to be of good quality. I am so happy i purchased it. im still using this set and very pleased with it for the year i've owned it. very easy to maintain the stainless steel. i will be purchasing kitchenaid brands for all my kitchen needs!
