I can't believe what a steal this was! I had seen some similar dinnerware at another store and for $15.00 you would get one place setting. I'm so glad I shopped around. This set is practical as well as beautiful. I proudly serve dinner using these dishes. Don't hesitate to purchase!

I ordered three sets of these white dishes, having seen them on display at the store. They would be wonderful (due to the design and price) except that half the dinner plates and bowls were defective. There were dots of dark glaze that made these pieces look like bits of food were stuck to them after a bad run through the dishwasher. The trouble was, they couldn't be scraped off! I didn't reorder, thinking I'd run into the same situation with additional boxes. Target made the return easy, but it was a disappointing purchase.

Great Bargain!!! I have been using this set for everyday use for the past couple of months. I do agree with the earlier buyer that similiar one place settings are around $15. One of my friends from Long Island was surprised to know that I had bought it from Target and that too [...] on sale. I Love it.

I was hesitant to register for these because of the couple of reviews about little black/brown specks on the dishes. But, there were many positive reviews, so I figured I'd probably be fortunate and not get stuck with that problem. I received two sets of these, and upon opening them, sure enough, what do you think I find?? Little black/brown specks on a couple of the bowls and mugs!! It really DOES look like stuck-on bits of food. I kept trying to scrape them off, but to no avail. Now I have to return them, VERY frustrating because I really liked these.

When I moved into my new place, I wanted all of my dishes in my kitchen to be white. I'm satisfied with this set. I've had it for over a month and it's holding up beautifully. The plates are big, and the mugs and bowls are just the perfect size. I wash all of my dishes by hand. Some reviewers have stated that their dishes had dark flecks in them. (very tiny black spots from the glazing. I saw one on the bottom of one of my plates, and the other on the mug handle - it didn't really bother me). The only problem I had was that it was only service for 4 people! I'm going back today to get another 16-pc set! This set will look so cute on your table. You can dress it up with colorful cups or napkins or keep it simple and elegant just how it is. It even looks nice in the cupboard when not being used. Highly recommended.

I have been looking for some classic white dinnerware for quite some time and I actually found a set of these in a thrift store (some pieces were missing.) I did a search on them from the label on the dishes and found they are sold by Target. The price is very reasonable, but I am waiting for them to go on sale (as indicated by other posts) to get a better deal so I can complete the missing pieces. I also have never found a set that I like the coffee mugs and these ones are great. The bowls are a nice size too. They match with any decor. I highly recommend them.

These dishes had a few black flecks in the glaze that will not come out. Also, the dishes have a slight grey cast to them, making them look dingy. I was disappointed.

I have two sets of these dishes and I LOVE them! They are a little heavy, but I like solid dishes. They always come out of the dishwasher perfectly. I've used them several times for dinner parties as you can dress the table up or down according to your needs. Very classic, well made dishes.
