I liked this set, but it should really be titled with the color burgundy or maroon. My kitchen is red, so I thought it would match, but it does not.

Very nice feel and thickness. Great quality, I want to get another set! Looks great in my RED kitchen, I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about it is RED! maybe she got a mis colored one.

This set is a beautiful set but they are DEFINATELY NOT RED. I have the red Fiestaware plates in my kitchen and thought that another touch of red was needed in my kitchen. They didn't match. Good quality though. I probably should have gone with the black set.
