These new non-stick fry pans that have a bottom of concentric rings of milled aluminum and rings coated with the non-stick material are a bad design because they are a danger to users and thus a liability to the T-Fal company aw well as Target.

The fact that the bottom non-stick surface is in contact with the stove grates means that the pan slides on the stove VERY EASILY and can slip off the stove, causing burns to the cook or small children nearby.

The bottom should be a clean metallic surface with no non-stick material.

I absolutely LOVE this pan. I made scrambled eggs this morning and I didn't even need cooking spray. The eggs came out great and after the pan cooled I wiped it with a wet dish cloth and it looks brand new.

I absolutely love this pan! It is large enough for me to cook fast and efficiently for my entire family. The nonstick surface on the outside is a wonderful feature as well.
