I got the chest for my daughter who was 12months at the time and I love it. My husband and I put it together with no problem and the drawers aren't easy to open which is good so Taylor won't play with them and smash her fingers.

I read some of the reviews and I will have to say a lot of the same things. First off, it came in the box with 4 of it's pieces broken. And then it took about 8 days to get replacement parts in the mail.

It isn't that it is too hard to put together, it's just really time consuming. I did it by myself in about 3 hours.

The worst part of this chest is the drawers. For one, they don't fit in easily once everything else is assembled. After you get them in by shoving them really hard, they don't slide easily at all. They aren't like a good chest that has wheels. They slide with plastic on plastic. Also, the drawers fit in crooked. I put this thing together perfectly so this is a manufacturer flaw, not mine. Lastly with the drawers, the handles look like they were spray painted by a five year old. They look terrible.

I would say this might be worth $20 at a yard sale. I do not recommend.

I would recommend this if you're looking for extra drawer space. I saw the negative comments, it really wasn't that hard to put together. I kept expecting it to be hard and it really wasn't. The small challenge I had was a few of the screws used to assemble drawer sides seemed to be too big for the pre-drilled hole, but I was able to work them in. Drawers open very smoothly. If you've ever put anything together you should be fine. I've put numerous pieces of furniture together, while this was fairly easy I've never quite put something together the way this is put together. Nice and sturdy. I'm ordering the matching nightstand.

We purchased this dresser online. Shipping was very quick. My husband put the dresser together relatively quick. The dresser is made of cheap particle board. It came with a tiny nick in the front. That's about the only problem We have with it. The finished product is attractive. It doesn't look cheap. It's very heavy and sturdy...just made out of cheap "wood". The drawers aren't super deep. but, I was able to make it work. I fit a TON of clothes in it. The drawers are a little sticky. But, that does not bother me.

I would recommend it if you are looking for something inexpensive. It is good value for the money.

I recieved the dresser on time and when I took all the pieces out to put it together there were no directions or list to see if all the pieces were even there! I'll get back with you to see how well the dresser holds up. I called the 800 number and the lady I gave my information to asked me for the model number which I did not know which one was the right one and apparently she didn't either because she said she would email the directions to me and they never came.

Once this was put together, the frame was very unstable and the bottom drawer would not fit. I thought I was getting a deal but I wasted my money on the shipping and this will be returned very shortly at our local Target store.

For the price it is a decent dresser. I read some reviews that it was difficult to put together. Not at all!! It was quite easy, especially if you follow the instructions. 3 women put it together in about an hour. Looks very nice once you put it together. However, the top draw seems a little rough to open. Overall, this piece of furniture is not too shabby for the price.

This item is sturdy when put together and is even prettier than pictured. My only complaints are that when putting the dresser together it was SO hard to put the drawer tracks on the drawers. The other thing is once the drawers are in the dresser they are VERY hard to open.

I just wanted a decent affordable dresser. Most other dressers cost AT LEAST $200. I was scared when I ordered this one because of the reviews. But I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Other people complain that this dresser was hard to put together and that the drawers were tough to pull out. This is true. But if you are thorough in reading the directions, you can do it. But it is time consuming. As far as the drawers are concerned, I suppose it's a good thing that they are a little hard to pull out. I don't want my toddler playing with them all day. I mean, it's not THAT bad. The gliders are plastic, not metal, that's all. Had the company invested in metal gliders, I would have given the dresser 5 stars. The plastic cheapens it. Anyway, they pack it really well. I didn't find a scratch on a single inch of the thing. Comes with an anchor for the wall, (VERY useful). I'd say I got what I paid for.
