Excellent nonstick surface! September 29, 2006 Reviewer:  Terri R (Lincoln, NE)  See all my reviews >

I have used rolling pins before, but nothing as great as this. I had to roll out fondant for our wedding cake (luckily I got for a shower gift before hand). The fondant stuck to everything else but this and the wax paper. Would recommend highly.

Perfect--No Stick!! September 4, 2006 Reviewer:  Coach B See all my reviews >

I grew up using a wooden rolling pin while I helped my mom in the kitchen, and I remember the dough always sticking to the pin...no worries about sticking to this pin!! I tried it out just the other day, and I absolutely loved it!

Drips rusty water October 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Loving Target "Barrie G." (Massachusetts)  See all my reviews >

From KitchenAid, I expected better. The name alone is why I bought this rolling pin. I didn't have one, and I went to the store to buy one, and saw the KitchenAid. [..] was a little much, I thought, but it's KitchenAid so I figured it would last a long time.

Unfortunately, water got into the actual "pin" part, through the holes at the handles, and rusted out the pin. When I used it, it would drip nasty, rusty colored water. I tried to get the handles off so I could rewash it and let it air dry, but I couldn't. I had to throw it away. I won't buy another pin like this.

bombs away June 16, 2007 Reviewer:  blondie (NJ)  See all my reviews >

Having had 2 kitchenaid mixers in my life, frankly I expected better quality; for 20$, I got a rolling pin that the kitchenaid logo wore off of the first time I used it, and the second time? Red flakes from the barrel onto my piecrust. Oh, and it is most definitely NOT non-stick. Would I recommend this item? NO! I bake everyday of my life. I'm not comfortable with using wooden rolling pins for bacteria reasons, so the quest for a decent one continues. I also found it curious that this item is nowhere to be found on the kitchenaid site...hmmmm....

Great roller! May 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Brand New Bride "EmK" (Omaha, NE)  See all my reviews >

We got this rolling pin as a wedding gift, and we have really been enjoying it! So far, the non-stick roller surface has been very satisfactory, and rolls beautifully. The handles are offset to protect knuckles, and it's a good upgrade from my last rolling pin. Not only is it fantastic in the kitchen, but we were advised at our gift-opening that a rolling pin makes for a very good back massage tool as well. I thought it sounded odd, but it really works (smile)! Very pleased with this kitchen tool!

LOVE IT!!! June 20, 2009 Reviewer:  missouri mami See all my reviews >

I registered for this when I got married two years ago and I love it. I have never had problems with it. Like all non-stick things don't use soap or it will ruin the finish. If my dough is a little sticky I will get some flour on my hand and run it over; but I have never had the dough get really attached. Oh an I love that it is weighted. I don't have to push down at all, and the fact that the handles don't turn with the pin is wonderful. I wouldn't buy any other kind.

Not good for bakers April 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Liz "EV" (Duluth, GA)  See all my reviews >

If you make pie once a year, or only roll things out every once in a blue moon, then this rolling pin will be great. However, if you are rolling out things on a weekly basis, this isn't the rolling pin for you! Its heavy, and a pain in the butt to use.

Love it February 15, 2009 Reviewer:  krrrystal See all my reviews >

I've had this rolling pin for over a year.. now I don't use it too often, but I've had great luck with it! You can't expect that by "nonstick", it won't stick to raw cookie dough. You still have to take care to flour the pin before you roll sticky dough out. All in all, I love this rolling pin!

Newlywed MKB August 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Loving Wife "MarykayB" (Texas)  See all my reviews >

This rolling pin is awesome I am crazy about KitchenAid! Going really well with my kitchen is a big plus but this baby really is non stick no worrying about your dough sticking to it when you are working with it! Was given in a big basket full of KitchenAid items! Great for newlyweds.

Not Worth the Money: Doesn't Work July 6, 2009 Reviewer:  Kevin "Kevin" (Naperville, IL)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this, thinking that it was a quality product. Unfortunately, the bearings in the roller are terrible and literally crunch when rolling dough. The roller locks up and doesn't want to turn when the bearings make the crunching noise.

The rest of the roller is fine, but the bearings are terrible.

I do not recommend this product.
