this product is harmful to baby's development. December 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Doula Rachel (New York, NY)  See all my reviews >

as a doula and childbirth educator i feel compelled to remind all expectant parents that this style of baby carrier is detrimental to your child's physical development. while it may look like the baby is well supported, they are actually carrying nearly all their weight on their own hipbones. think about it: a baby can't even support it's own head, let alone their entire body. use of these style carriers can lead to misshapen hips and cause problems walking in later life. i recommend a style of carrier in which the baby can sit back on their bottoms, or better yet lay in a cradle position, with their weight resting on larger body parts. other kinds of carriers will also be much gentler on your shoulders and back. do what's best for you and your baby and choose a wrap, sling, or pouch-style carrier instead.

This is MUST HAVE product! September 3, 2009 Reviewer:  M. Leung Real Name (Chicago, IL)  See all my reviews >

For the record, Doula's have little to no proper Medical Training. The baby bjorn does not harm the development of your son or daughter! Top Pediatricians at the Cleveland Clinic have recommended the Baby Bjorn to my husband and I.

It is fabulous for traveling! We live 15 hours away from from both of our parents so we fly a lot with our son. Our son loves it... he gets to watch to scene and my hands are free. I use it shopping, walking around Chicago, It is a GOD SEND!

Works great--even with 10 month old! May 29, 2009 Reviewer:  GA Peach Mama (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

I've used this carrier since my baby was just a few weeks old. She was born in the summer, and it would get hot if we were outside too long in it. She did well in it, though! Lately, she's loved it more than ever! She lasts SO much longer at the store if I put her in the carrier rather than just the cart. She's 10-months old, and over 20 pounds, and fits comfortably...so I haven't noticed it being too small, as others have written. The one draw-back is that after any length of time carrying her in it, my back does start to get a bit sore. But that's after having her in there for 45 min. or more! It's a great carrier!!

Worth the extra money March 28, 2009 Reviewer:  M. Glover "Newmommy022009" Real Name See all my reviews >

I originally put the evenflo snuggli on my registry but it was too big, the head support wasn't supportive, and my son hated it he cried the entire time he was in it. Then I got a hotslings and he hated that too, so I bought this and he doesn't fuss at all when in it and he feels properly supported.

okay December 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Jessie See all my reviews >

This is OKAY. Not worth the money. save yourself an unhappy baby and a backache and go to another website or babyhawk these are much more comfortable! and easy! This was simply okay. My daughter had fat legs so it was hard to adjust it to fit right. Also the head support thing that is supposed to fold down, didn't stay down. Also not very versatile. My moby I can carry an infant in the cradle hold, as they get bigger they can go vertical (like babybjorn) or facing out, then to the hip and back. I still use it daily with my 16 month old but if i tried to put her in this baby bjorn she would freak out!

WORTH IT!! June 11, 2008 Reviewer:  HanoonaMuslimah "Sumaya B" (Los Angeles, CA)  See all my reviews >

I had originally bought a cheaper carrier, and after 5 minutes my back was killing me. I returned it as it was just more trouble than it was worth, and decided to just spend the extra money and go with this carrier because of the good reviews. I must say, it is AMAZING and well worth the money. God bless the inventor, seriously. It made my life so much easier, as I can get things done around the house, run errands, etc all with a content baby!! Now I can actually take naps, or have free time while she sleeps, whereas I used to have to do chores when she slept! BUY IT!!

Register For This!!! June 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Maggs "Maggs" (Dallas)  See all my reviews >

This should be the FIRST item on your registry. I held out and ended up buying this when my daughter was 2 months and i have no idea what i did before it!! She LOVES this and almost demands me to put her in it while i can get housework done. I love the pink trim on this one as well-super cute and get so many compliments on it! Had i known then--it would have been the absolute FIRST item on my registry. You will not be disappointed--completely worth the price

A Life-Saver January 5, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy Baby-Happy Mommy See all my reviews >

I love our BabyBjorn carrier. We tried using others, including the hotslings carrier and our son HATED it. Even as a newborn, he seemed to feel unhappy and crammed...he just screamed. We put him in this carrier and he went right to sleep. I am able to get so much more done around the house with him in this carrier. Don't get me wrong, some babies love the cradle position and love being in a sling. Mine just wasn't one of them. I also think this item was easier to use than the hotsling...in my opinion!

Okay for Babies Under 20 Lbs August 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Goo Baby (Bloomington, MN)  See all my reviews >

I have really enjoyed this Bjorn until the past couple of weeks when my 20lb+ 8 month old daughter became too much for my husband and I to comfortably carry her in. The Bjorn is a high-quality carrier, allowing you to carry your baby front facing and back facing. It is a life saver for quick errands or even helping bounce your baby to sleep. The straps are easy to adjust and my husband and I found it easy to transfer it back and forth for each of our sizes.

I am now going to get the Ergo Baby Carrier as it will allow me to carry my chubby baby on my back! I would probably suggest just going with that from the beginning as you can carry your baby from infant to toddler. Good luck!

Wonderful!! May 19, 2009 Reviewer:  PA mom See all my reviews >

This is a life saver!!! I got a sling for my daughter when she was born but it was horrible and she hated it. I could never use it b/c she is very small and would slip down in it covering her face so it was way too dangerous. I got this carrier and the second I put her in it she loved it!! I couldn't believe it! I am a bigger busted woman and it does seem to fit me just fine I think it is the most comfy carrier I have ever used. However it does seem like it would be a bit small for a chunkier baby but I have never tried to put one in it.
