This is OK. You need a lot of liquid to get it to work. It would probably be better to buy one of the mini food choppers from the kitchen department -- I think they are cheaper and may work better.

We bought this to help save money feeding our twins. It worked great for about 2 weeks and now, quit working right. You have to line up the top, which has the motor, to the bottom, which holds the food, PERFECTLY. It would sometimes take us 30-40 tries of lining it up right, all the while the twins were crying, waiting for their food. The review before me had it right-we now puree their food in the little Black and Decker food chopper, which is cheaper, too.

I am so happy with this purchase. The mill is wonderful. I have used it for fruits and veggies and it works great. Easy to clean because all parts are removable. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting to make thier own baby food.

Not only is this a great product but I have been looking around to find something that isn't Polybycarbonate. I researched another top rated brand that is a french made product and although it does look easier because it steams the food then blends it. It does have BPA in it. So if this is a concern for you I would suggest going with this product. It works absolutely wonderfully and I would highly recommend it to all.

I like this because of the size, I can puree some of what I am eating for dinner to give to my son. It does an excellent job of pureeing. I've never had a problem.

I've been using this great food mill for 4 months now, making all of my twins homemade food with it. It works great, has never broken down, is easy to assemble, clean and store. Not sure why some other reviewers gave it lesser ratings - for the one stating they had to try it 30-40 times while babies were crying, I would recommend making their food ahead of time and freezing it - then thawing about 1 hour before they're ready to eat.
