Now for the important information December 5, 2008 Reviewer:  Chris Black Real Name See all my reviews >

Just an observation: this unit is very slow to get to temperature. I mean like it takes more than an hour to get to temp. It has three temperature settings that I measured and then wrote on the outside above the labels:

Warm - 120 degrees
Low - 180 degrees
High - 285 degrees

Dinner is ready when you get home! November 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Ashley (Akron, OH, USA)  See all my reviews >

My boyfriend and I both work long hours and when dinner time comes around, neither of us have much energy or time to make a nice home cooked meal. All to often we just end up throwing a frozen pizza in the oven because it is convenient. Well all that changed about a year ago when I bought this crock-pot. I love it! It makes any cut of meat so tender that you can cut it with a serving spoon (even the cheaper cuts which means I stay within my budget)! This week I made jambalaya which lasted Sunday, Monday and tonight (Tuesday). Tomorrow we are having stuffed green peppers. The peppers are already stuffed and sitting in the pot in the fridge. All I have to do tomorrow morning is throw the crock in the pot (or is it the pot in the crock?), pour the sauce over it, and set it to low. Dinner will be ready when we get home. I have never had a problem with anything burning. Just delicious, hearty meals that cooked all day while I was away. What could be better? Oh...and for those of you who are looking for a crock pot that travels...Rival sells a Crock-Pot insulated travel bag that straps the lid down on any slow cooker from 4 to 7 quarts. I bought my travel bag for about $10.

I love this slow cooker. The heating is even and consistant. I only wish it came with an elastic to secure the lid when traveling - but that is nothing that can't be fixed with a rubber band.

good while it lasted March 22, 2008 Reviewer:  K. Bilek Real Name (OH United States)  See all my reviews >

This cooker was a gift and it worked great until the lid broke. The lid was room temp and it shattered when placed in warm dishwater. Why, I have no idea. Finding a replacemet has been a headache, rival doesn't offer one and most other replacement companies either no longer carry it or charge as much as what a whole new pot would cost. Buy it with a "disposable" mindset.

It Tastes Funny! January 16, 2008 Reviewer:  Chilly Lily (South Salem, NY)  See all my reviews >

I bought this slow cooker about a year ago and no matter what I make in it everything tastes exactly the same. I don't know what the taste is but it is not appetizing. I am not sure what the problem is but I never use it for that reason. It is unfortunate too because it has nice features and I love the red.

My new cook! November 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Carribean Queen "QUEEN LADY" (KANSAS CHIC)  See all my reviews >

I often tease that I've hired a new cook to work while i'm off to my office. This Crockpot is that cook and it's GREAT, I've had it for close to a year now, and it's overworked ( I use it at least four times each week) and it's still working like new. I have no complaints, and the people who eat at my house have no complaints about the meals! It's a nice red color, coordinates well with my kitchenaid appliances.

cook dinner and still have time October 12, 2008 Reviewer:  busy mom "beth w" (texas)  See all my reviews >

I love this crock pot. I have also never owned one before so I don't have anything to compare it to however I am not a great cook and every meal I have made with this crock pot has been wonderful and everyone raves. Its impossible to mess up (IMO) I love that it is small enough to go into the cupboards when not in use and large enough to make a meal that will feed my LARGE family (6 adults and 2 kids). Also clean up is a breaze just let it sit with warm water for about thirty min and then put it into the dishwasher. I have had mine for a year now and am still just as happy with it and it looks brand new. We use it at least once a week.

Love it! April 6, 2008 Reviewer:  Giselle G. (Gainesville, FL)  See all my reviews >

Great slow cooker. This is the first one I own so I guess I have nothing to compare it to but at least all the meals I've made have turned out great. Great for making baby back ribs (they will fall of the bone). For the price I don't think you can get a better quality slow cooker.
