So great I own 3!!! September 6, 2008 Reviewer:  Karma&Me (Ohio)  See all my reviews >

Love. Love. Love this product!
Excellent normal crock pot function...BONUS clamp on lid makes it great for pot-lucks on the run! Handles are sturdy & not in the way of the lid when you go to take it on and off.....spoon rest could be better designed but at least it is there! No wondering if you have it with you!

I personally own three for when I entertain (great little place on the side lets you "label" what's in the pot) and have bought at least 4 as gifts - this thing rocks!

Love this Crock Pot January 21, 2008 Reviewer:  LoveToShop "LoveToShop" (California)  See all my reviews >

I love this crock pot. I've owned crock pots before and never liked them. When I saw this one at the store, I decided to give crock pot cooking another try. This product solves all the problems I have disliked about previous crock pots. It can be set to cook for a specific number of hours and then will automatically change to a lower temperature until we get around to eating. The attractive crock lifts out of the cooker to place directly onto the table. It cleans up easily. It is big enough for my very large family. I've now gone from a person who hated crock pot cooking to one that cooks in the crock pot almost every single night. My family loves it. No more eating out on the run. Now we are eating healthy, homecooked meals and loving it. A suggestion for people who are new to crock pot cooking- you need a good cookbook. Try 'Pillsbury Slow Cooker Recipes' cookbook. It will have you making wonderful meals for your family in no time. Happy Cooking !

Best crock pot on the market. December 6, 2007 Reviewer:  LawyerMom (USA)  See all my reviews >

I love my crockpot! The Hamilton Beach crockpots are always competitive in price with the more popular Rival, but rarely have you heard complaints about the Hamilton Beach crockpot having hot spots and burning the food or the inner crock cracking after only a few uses. (I've heard of this problem also with the more expensive Kitchenaid crockpot.) This crockpot comes with an inner gasket seal and locking clips which prevent steam from escaping and heating or smelling up your house during cooking (if you choose to use it). It also prevents the food from losing too much water and becoming toast. It would also keep food from spilling all over the place if you chose to throw the thing in the back of the car and drive to an event. Only complaint I have is that the crock that I happened to receive had a few tiny spots at the bottom where they hadn't fully glazed the pot and have since become blackened. I use a crockpot liner, so it doesn't touch the food, but it does prevent the crock from looking gleaming clean and new after washing. Further, the dial is manual, so you don't have a timer to automatically switch the dial to "keep warm" after it's finished cooking. It's my second Hamilton Beach crockpot (love them!) and I'll never go back to another brand.

THE BEST!! June 7, 2007 Reviewer:  killmewithabouncyball See all my reviews >

This is by far my favorite wedding gift. If you feel negatively about this slow cooker you just need more practice. It is perfect for at home or to go somewhere. It has a super tight non spill seal, carrying bag, and holder for the spoon. The carrying bag was also a huge plus for me b/c that means no more burns to and from the car. This is definitely a great buy. Go for it!!

Horrible Buy March 5, 2008 Reviewer:  Megan (Normal, IL)  See all my reviews >

I bought this crock pot three months ago and have used it approximately 8 times. Yesterday I noticed a crack that went all the way through the crock. I called the manufacturer about it and they refused to do anything about it and tried to sell me a new product. Now I have to buy a new crock pot!

I would stay away from this product and this manufacturer.

THE BEST!!! March 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Amy (PA)  See all my reviews >

My fiance and I bought this slow cooker for my mom and she loves it!!! It's durable, cooks evenly, and is so easy to clean! This cooker gives you more bang for your buck; works better than a lot of the more expensive ones and lasts a lot longer! I was so impressed with it, it was the first thing we put on our wedding registry!!

Wonderful Crockpot!!! November 12, 2007 Reviewer:  Danny and Johannas mommy (Northern Minnesota)  See all my reviews >

I love this crockpot!!! I have had multiple crockpots and have always run into so many issues with to hot, or whatever.. I have never had issues with this one.. and it does wonderful on everything!! Even on hard to cook things like Porketta, (local ethnic favorite -- tends to dry out!!) it stays moist everytime!!
Between myself, my mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, I think we have 4 to 5 of them... We even had one purchased one for our local Fire Hall... The guys and gals love it!!!
It is the most wonderful crock pot I have ever had!!!!

Not happy April 14, 2008 Reviewer:  daisy mom See all my reviews >

I've purchased two of these and returned them both. The first crock pot was scratched so I exchanged it for another. The second I took out and started to use and realized that the lid will not sit flush with the pot because of the rubber lining that keeps it from spilling when traveling. You're not supposed to cook with the lid hooked down which is the only way to keep it closed all the way so the heat doesn't escape. Not designed very well and the locks seem pretty flimsy like they will break after using for a time. You have to really force the locks to go over the hooks on the lid to get it closed anyway. Just not worth the money so I am reading other reviews now to help pick a better product.

Was good, at first :( February 19, 2009 Reviewer:  G. Anvil Real Name (Palmer, Alaska United States)  See all my reviews >

I received this as a Christmas gift, and it worked nicely the first few times I used it, but then it wouldn't cook beans all the way. I thought that it was because I was adding the tomato products too early, and then I got another brand slow cooker, tried it, and the beans came out perfect. I'm guessing that it developed a leak in the seal or something.
