Burns one side; other side uncooked July 10, 2008 Reviewer:  On a budget See all my reviews >

I bought this in the copper finish, which is just beautiful in my kitchen. But it's the worst toaster. It burns one side of the bread while the other side is lightly toasted at best. The dial at a low setting doesnt toast the bread, anything higher and it burns. Pressing the button down again results in a burn. Very temperamental and hard to work with. There's no release underneath to empty out the crumbs, you have to turn the whole toaster upsidedown to clean out.

Save your money June 7, 2008 Reviewer:  MoneyGirl "Kim S" (Fresno, CA USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this toaster about 6 months ago. It toasts unevenly and the buttons don't work. I even had to unplug the whole thing to turn off! Do not waste your money on this toaster. I'm sorry I did.

Nice to look at... December 3, 2007 Reviewer:  M. Kuhlers Real Name See all my reviews >

The pluses end there. This toaster is awful. Every time I have used it, about every other day, the toast leveler will not stay down. I push it down gently, I push it down with force, nothing seems to do the trick except dumb-luck after 2 minutes of toying with it. This toaster is lovely looking but works terribly. I am regretting throwing out my old, ugly one that actually functioned.

Great Toaster! December 28, 2008 Reviewer:  USA See all my reviews >

I am surprised at all the bad reviews this toaster is getting. Maybe they changed manufacturing plants after I got mine because it works great! I went all out and bought this for a girl's dorm where I am the housemother after we blew through numerous toasters which literally fell apart with the constant use. This one has held up longer than all the others and is cool-to-the-touch to boot. Knock on wood, it is still going strong even after several years of hard use.

Don't buy March 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Beth S See all my reviews >

I registered for this toaster when I got married but didn't do my research. The buttons worked fine but the burners only heat up on one side! So you have to flip whatever is in there, not very efficient at all, especially when there are so many other toasters that heat both sides at the same time. I wouldn't buy it unless you have time to waste.

Buy Hamilton Beach instead! December 16, 2007 Reviewer:  targetjunkie (Fargo, ND)  See all my reviews >

I've had this toaster for less than a year and it doesn't work. It won't release the toast when it's done, so I have to stand over it until my toast is done and then unplug it to get my toast to pop up, otherwise it stays in there until it gets VERY burnt and smokes up the house... I had to learn that the hard way! :-(
I have bought a Hamilton Beach toaster and am very happy with that one.

If you LIKE it BURNT then you'll love this toaster June 10, 2009 Reviewer:  family of five See all my reviews >

This is the absolute worst toaster. It burns 99% of everything we put in it regardless of the setting! We have wasted so much money having to throw away burnt food. I finally got so fed up that I returned it today and will now be trying the Michael Graves toaster. Hope we have better luck with this toaster.

Short life January 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Douglas H. Enman "Jane & Doug Enman" Real Name (Florence, SC USA)  See all my reviews >

This toaster worked fine for about 9 months, then all buttons and functions stopped working altogether. This toaster works great while it works, but the shelf life doesn't last. Quality not good.

I like this neat little toaster! November 24, 2008 Reviewer:  Almost Bride "Bekah R." (Syracuse, IN)  See all my reviews >

My finance and I have only had this toaster a month, but so far I think it works just great! It looks really sleek and modern on the kitchen counter too. It has different settings for toast, bagel, etc.; I'm not sure what exactly those do, but it toasts either item just fine, evenly, and brown enough (I like my toast pretty toasty) for me.
Also, another review said that there wasn't a slide out tray for the crumbs, which is incorrect. There is a slide out tray which works great.
As far as fingerprints go, I just wipe the toaster when I wipe the counter clean and I haven't noticed any unruly smudges not coming off.

Good-looking toaster... February 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Tov See all my reviews >

And that's about the only good thing about it. Despite what the product description tells you, this toaster has two settings: warm or burnt. If you put it below 2, you will barely have warm toast. If you put it at three, you will have black-burnt toast. There's no setting at which this toaster works well. Unless you are going to sit there hovering over your toast the entire time, don't but this. I've bought way cheaper toasters that worked WAY better. This was a complete waste of money, except for its kitchen decor factor.
