Many mug warmers are lampooned in reviews for not keeping drinks warm enough. I myself do prefer very warm drinks. I bought this mug warmer fully expecting to have to return it and upgrade to a more expensive model. But, I was pleasantly surprised. It keeps my coffee plenty warm. Sure, it looses a degree or two relative to it's straight-out-of-the-pot temperature, but it's safely within the enjoyable-to-drink temperature range. For $10, this product has a great cost to performance ratio.

Started with hot coffee and used a flat-bottomed cup (to make more surface contact with the warmer). Coffee stayed hot to the last sip.

We are coffee drinkers at work so I thought this would be the perfect gift for my co-wokers. This warmer works very well and keeps the coffee perfectly hot! I would say they are great!

This mug warmer works great and comes at a great price. We're not allowed to have appliances at our desks in my workplace, but this was considered acceptable. It doesn't keep drinks boiling, but it's plenty warm right up to the last drop. As a matter of fact, the last drop is slightly warmer because there's less liquid to heat. I would recommend this to anyone, especially at [the price].

I didn't have much expectation when I bought this but turns out it's really good! I hate drinking cold water, so I fill my mug with water and then leave it on this heating plate - it warms it up after awhile. It keeps my coffee warm - not at a straight out of the pot temp, but it does keep it warm.

This is great as a coffee or tea warmer, but when it occurred to me to try it once to warm a fragrant jar candle, I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the way it filled the air with fragrance without using up my candle. Try this! You'll buy more to put them around the house, I promise.

Since I must have my coffee, cocoa, or any other hot beverage very hot when I consume them, I really needed a warmer as my old one that I had had for probably 15 years or so, finally crashed. I found just what I wanted at Target and once again am enjoying my beverages hot.

I bought this warmer to keep my coffee from going cold and having to rewarm it in the microwave before I could drink it at work, where I get distracted often. I would say the warmer does that sufficiently, but not great. I don't like coffee out-of-the-pot hot but I do like it very warm - warm enough that I have to sip it. This warmer definitely doesn't keep the coffee hot and even struggles with keeping it very warm. But it does slow the process of cooling down enough that it works for me to get through the whole cup before I feel I have to microwave it. So it works for my purposes, and the price is right. I use a ceramic cup. The bottom of the cup is kept very hot to the touch, but somehow that doesn't translate to the coffee inside.

I like this coffee warmer a lot. It keeps my coffee at a pretty good temperature. I wish it kept it a little bit warmer. But overall, it is a good buy.
