I am not impressed with this iron. I purchased this one thinking the high price would mean it would be better. It has no power. The high setting does not get wrinkles out of light weight shirts. I have plans to return it this weekend.

Rowenta irons are junk

We've purchased not 1, not 2, but 4 rowenta irons. They are nothing but junk. The 2nd one would shut off and would not work for about an hour, the 3rd one blew up, made a loud "pop" and blue smoke came out of it, the 4th one constantly shuts off. You get to iron for about 20 seconds than you have to move the iron back and forth according to the helpful hints section in order to get it to turn back on. These irons are not what you're led to believe they are. You're better off buying a [..] iron than wasting your money on these over rated irons.

I am sorry to hear of the other user's poor experience with Rowenta irons. I am happy with my iron. It works great, feels great, and is easy to use. I have recommended this product to a friends/family.

I love this iron. I have not had issues like the others. It moves around my clothes smoothly and easily and it does get wrinkles out very well. I have not had calcium build up either - sometimes it will spit out of the holes and get on my clothes, but it doesn't bother me because I'll just fluff it off. I've had this for a year now and have not had any power issues. Works like when I first got it.
