Description
This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight–sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by sauteing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.
Features
- Cookware set made of 18/10 stainless steel with silicone-covered handles for a steady, comfortable grip

Nice cookware but I ended up not liking them

This is a beautiful cookware set, I bought it because I liked what the outside looked like. I thought I'd maybe like the stainless on the inside also but I didn't. I really missed having non-stick on the inside of the pan.
[...] Loved having the glass lids. Food stuck a little but after soaking the food came out.

I just wanted to give more information on this set as the product description is very limited and contains a typo. I wanted to make sure the typo 10qt saucepan was actually a 1 qt saucepan not a 1.5 qt. It took a number of calls to kitchenaid before I was able to get an answer. I purchased the set and it's really nice looking and since I have been using stainless steel cookware my entire life do not anticipate any problem with this set. For me, the set includes all the sizes of saucepans I was looking for, plus it accommodates a few other items I use. I wanted a totally stainless steel set.. no non stick, wanted silicone handles and preferred glass lids. This set provides all of that.
According to the box...
The set is brushed stainless steel. It has an aluminum disk base encapsulated by stainless steel. Dual riveted handles, which are made of stainless steel enhanced with soft silicone rubber and are oven safe to 400 degrees F. Tempered glass lids. It contains 1,2 and 3 qt covered saucepans. an 8 inch and 10 inch french skillet. A 6 qt covered stockpot. ( As someone wrote the stockpot lids fits the 10 inch skillet)
If you're looking to add a few additional items I found my 2 qt Betty Crocker double boiler fits the 3 qt saucepan and my universal Cuisinart steamer w/ lid fits the 2 and 3 qt saucepans.

I've owned this set for about six weeks, and I'm still pinching myself for finding the perfect cookery. I looked also at Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table and now I wonder why anybody would pay $600 to $900 for similar pots. I love the glass lids, and the handles with their rubber-like padding are very comfortable and easy to grip. The dutch oven lid fits the large fry pan. The heavy bottoms heat very evenly, and they work well with our ceramic glass cooktop.

I have owned professional grade cookware for many years and was hesitant to try something new. This set is fabulous. I cannot say enough good things about this set. I have had no problems with sticking & clean up is a breeze. I am completely pleased with the weight and solid build of the pans. They are all a little narrower & taller, leaving less chances for over boil or flying food. The clear glass lids are wonderful. They metal heats quickly & evenly. They stack nicely and will compliment any decor. If you're wavering, I say go for it!

Love These Pans

I have had professional grade cookware for many years. This new set was a gift and I couldn't be more pleased. All It takes is a little know how and a little common sense and nothing sticks to these pans. They are extremely even heating and besides they look so sharp! I love them!

I personally favor stainless steel cookware and purchased this set to replace my husband's "bachelor" set of cookware. We've had it for about a month and we really love it. It's beautiful, cooks amazingly well, and cleans up so easily. I gave it 4 stars because the only really complaint I'd have is that the lids don't fit tightly enough. They fit very well, the set is very well made, but if there was anything I could complain about, it would be the lids. Other than that, it's really a great set. Like any other stainless steel set, you can't use them on high heat (you don't really need to) and if you clean them right away the food you cooked won't stick and you won't experience any discoloration (besides the natural discoloration that would come with age and everyday use and abuse- I have 3 kids and they're not the best at cleaning up). This is a great set and very much worth the money. My family and I would definitely recommend this set to anyone looking for a stainless steel set!!

Fantastic Post-Wedding Purchase

We received a lot of Target gift cards, since we registered there (and, our wedding was in Iowa and we live in Texas). These pans are GREAT! The handles do not get hot at all. They stack nicely for storage...which is great since we live in a tiny apartment right now. They heat evenly for eggs/omelette's, etc. I have not had a problem with food sticking at all. I just spray the pot with some PAM and nothing sticks. Added bonus for the stainless steel over Teflon pans: you can use metal utensils!

I LOVE THIS SET OF COOKWARE! I can't imagine someone saying that they said it was no-stick and they were looking for t-fal when these pots are clearly stainless steel - strong, durable, great size to avoid boil overs, stay cool handles, easy to keep clean, just use Pam and soak these if the food sticks due to high temps. I am planning on getting a set of these for my sister soon since she loves to cook as much as I do. some of us chefs never have enough pots! These will be the pots my children have to go to college and beyond with.

I have always had non-stick cookware, but had been wanting to switch to stainless due to health concerns regarding surface degradation (and possible toxicity to our parrots if a pan cooked dry). I searched around and decided to buy this set based on the reviews here. There were only 2, but they both seemed very happy. I'm happy to say that it was a very good decision. I love the handles, no problems with cooking, and have had no cleanup complaints (I just put it in the sink and fill with water for a while and they are a breeze to clean). It's always a really good feeling when you purchase a product that does a really great job!

We just purchased this set to replace an older set when we moved into our first home. I have used all of the items included in this set. Both frying pans discolored after the first use. I had hoped to hang these pans on a pot rack in our kitchen but with the discoloration we now looking for another replacement set.
