I have had no problems with rust or anything with this product. Then again, I cover it back up after every use and don't leave it exposed to the elements like some people seem to be doing. Great product, put it together in 10 minutes with the tool provided, and the provided vinyl cover works great! I would definitely buy this product again, and would recommend it to my friends.

This fire bowl does rust easily, as others have said, BUT only if you get it wet. Using the provided cover will keep it dry and rust free.
Or, if you're too lazy to cover it, like me, a can of RustOleum High-Heat spray paint [...] takes care of the problem. The black color matches perfectly (you can even spot paint), and it prevents rust!

My husband is from Washington State and always had a fire pit there. Moving to Florida, he really missed it. My daughter bought this for him last Christmas and he is still loving it! Ours is outside all year round and we have had no trouble with rusting! He loves to sit in the swing and just watch the fire and listen to the crackling. Great way to get rid of old tree stumps too! For him it is a gift that keeps on giving!

My neighbor got two of these and we "aquired" one after a picnic. (They're too lazy to come and get it) It's pretty nice. I liked it so much I bought one for my parents patio as a Christmas gift. The folks don't need an inferno, just something to keep them warm on the patio and this is perfect for them.

As for the rust.. we just put it away after its cooled off, so it still looks great.

It's no chimenea but for the price, it does a good job.

I originally purchase this for my nephews wedding reception--he has a "fire and Ice" theme and wanted a firepit on a outdoor patio area. I purchase this one because it was light weight so it would be easy to transport to his reception and it was inexpensive so I could justify giving it away after the reception. Well I put it together in under 10 minutes and decided to test it out to see how it looked before giving it to him...I LOVE IT. I have used it every night since purchase and have decided to only let my nephew BORROW it for his wedding reception, then its will be back on my patio...I'm keeping it, It's beautiful. Who need a more expensive model...

I purchased this firebowl last summer and it began rusting almost immediately. We stored it for the winter and continued using this summer, however, there are now large holes in the bottom. It was really nice to have, but we are totally disappointed with the quality.

Easy assembly, Great Value, Fantastic Product!! I have had no problem with the unit rusting like other people have mentioned. I bought one of the covers and I make sure to cover it when I am finished, so it is protected from the rain. I would recommend this product to all my neighbors.

We received this as a wedding gift and we love it! We sat by it almost every weekend this summer and it still looks great. We would highly recommend.

We've used this firebowl for 2 years and it worked very well. However, a month ago, the fire we had going fell through the newly created hole in the bowl. We did not take great care of it so I am mostly to blame for the degradation. We just bought another one and this time we will not let it sit out in the rain, not sit out in the snow during the winter and only have it outside when we are using it. This will hopefully prolong our second firebowls life. We look forward to many more years with this firebowl. I would definitely recommend this simple firebowl.
