Working Woman's Dream September 16, 2006 Reviewer:  KK06 (Raleigh, NC)  See all my reviews >

We got this as a gift for our wedding and I LOVE IT! Since the pot is removable I can fill it in the evening, put it in the fridge with the lid overnight, then pull it out plop it in to cook the next morning before I leave for work. If you have leftovers there is really no clean-up, just put the lid on and back into the fridge. And the best part---diswasher safe. I don't know why anyone would want to buy a crockpot without the removable dish.

Love this Crock Pot! September 21, 2006 Reviewer:  coco46 "coco46" (Nevada, USA)  See all my reviews >

It's my very first one and I love it! Easy to use, easy clean, and mine came with a travel bag that's so handy.

A great buy!

Great slow cooker December 12, 2006 Reviewer:  Amanda "Amanda S." (Chicago, Illinois)  See all my reviews >

I received this crockpot as a gift, giving up my VERY old and much smaller crockpot. I have used it a few times, and I think it works very well. It was hard to get used to cooking in such a big crockpot, but it is a good tool to have in the kitchen, especially for people who work all day and want to come home to an already prepared dinner.

best crock I've ever owned! February 23, 2007 Reviewer:  Ahodge (portland, or)  See all my reviews >

I received this for mother's day and could not be happier! This really is a 'smart' crock pot. I love that it gives so many heat/time options and that it goes to warm when it is done cooking. By far the best crock pot I have ever owned!

Great Crock Pot February 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Kelly "Kelly" (Farmington Hills, MI United States)  See all my reviews >

I have mine for 5+ years and it has really taken a beating. There was a review that talked about the fact that you can cook on high or low and for 6 or 10 hours. Honestly, that's all I've really ever needed. I usually put dinner on in the morning and leave it on all day while I'm at work.

The crock itself can be washed in the dishwasher, which is a real plus. I really do love it and leave it out on the counter all the time.

Extremely disappointing! January 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Michelle See all my reviews >

I was excited to get this nice, programmable slow cooker at such a reasonable price. Once I tried using it, I realized it was just "cheap". It only includes 4 possible programs: 4hrs on high, 6 hrs on high, 8 hrs on low, or 10hrs on low. There were no other possible combinations, so I wouldn't have been able to most of the recipes from my cookbook (Better Homes & Gardens) without some hassle. I could have dealt with that. What I could not deal with was the poor quality.

The lid did not sit well, and that led to a lot of moisture loss. Any meats were dry, and any liquids lost serious volume. The unit also ran hot. Really hot! Of the recipes that I tried, they were all done WAY too early (several HOURS early!) and were usually scorched. I even tried adjusting to this "hot" unit, and spent a lot of time stirring, adjusting the program, etc. It still didn't work, and all that effort seems to defeat the purpose of a slow cooker. I am SO glad Target has a nice return policy.

Unless you plan on monitoring your slow cooker constantly (every half hour at least) and use very simple recipes that start with high volumes, I would strongly advice against this model.

Wouldn't Recommend March 29, 2008 Reviewer:  C. B. (Tampa, FL)  See all my reviews >

I bought this crock pot two days ago and will be taking it back tomorrow. First off, there are only four settings: Cooking for 4 or 6 hours can only be set on high heat, and 8 or 10 hours can only be set on low heat. This was a problem when I needed to finish a meal by only cooking on high heat for an hour. I got around this by manually turning it off after an hour, but it would've been nice if it had more settings.

The main reason I'm disappointed with this crock pot is that it releases steam and a lot of heat around the glass lid. When I tried to adjust the lid, a big shot of steam was released which sprayed my clothes and got all over my kitchen counter. I don't want to worry about my crock pot making a mess especially when I'm not home.

A positive view point: My dinner turned out delicious. I just believe that I would be happier with a different model with more settings and a secure lid.

Love it - simple and so easy to use January 27, 2009 Reviewer:  NY mom "NYM" (New York, NY)  See all my reviews >

Before purchasing anything I always check out the reviews. I searched between target and other stores, and bed bath and beyond. By the end of my second search this slow cooker had the best reviews. By the time I went to purchase this slow cooker it went on sale.

This is my first slow cooker and I really wanted to make beef stew. For one I love the size and two the slow cooker is so easy to clean and use; I didn't even read the users manual. When I got home from work I put everything I needed for beef stew into the slow cooker stirred it up a little bit and left it alone. I read the previous reviews about scorching so I made sure to put enough water in the pot to cover the food. The next morning I woke up to the smell of homemade hearty beef stew.
Please believe me when I tell you that the meat was so tender that it literally melted in my mouth. Usually when I make beef stew the potatoes and veggies over cook while the meat is dry and tough. This time in the slow cooker everything was cooked just right. The potatoes were perfect and the carrots had soooo much flavor.
My mom loved it soo much that she went and brought one the other day to replace her slow cooker that had more features, a better look, and not to mention more money.

Sometimes simple is better.

1 year and counting January 29, 2008 Reviewer:  D. D. Betterton "somewhereinmyhead" Real Name (United States)  See all my reviews >

When my husband and I seperated he got the slow cooker and I tell you this was the best gift we received. It has been year and I am purchasing this one again because nothing cooked my roast better than this slow cooker. Everything I have cooked in this slower cooker has been perfection. Note: You should not leave the house or totally take your attention off any food when it's cooking in the slow cooker , etc. if not just for saftey reason. I always check periodically and poured the juice the meat was cooking in on top for more flavor.

Cooks Just Right November 23, 2007 Reviewer:  Family of 3 (Long Beach CA)  See all my reviews >

I have had this crockpot for 10 months now and I use it at least once a week, and all of my food comes out just right with plenty of juices and the meat just crumbles in my mouth. I love this product when the cooking time is up it automatically switches to warm.
