We were looking for something to replace our old permanent fire pit and decided to get a fireplace we could move around the yard. This was the smartest thing we've bought for the spring, summer, and fall nights! Our friends love it! Being able to move it to different locations made backyard entertaining so easy! It wasn't too difficult to put together and it even comes with a screen (very helpful with a dog and kids running around) which many don't. Everyone raves about our fireplace! We couldn't be happier!

Fast shipping, it took about a hour to put together. Putting the sceen top together was the trickiest, have not tried to burn anything yet but I'm sure it will be fine. I ordered a cover because it said people who order this buy a cover,it comes with a cover so I could have saved $30 ...I think by looking at it one with a drawer might have been better than picking up the whole tray to dump out. I ordered this because we have a lot of wood from a tree that fell in the back yard. The wife liked the look and the fact that it was probably raised high enough off the ground where it wouldn't likely fry the grass (since we weren't sure where we'd put it). I liked it because it was big enough where I wouldn't need to cut the wood into short pieces and because it would allow the inner pyro in me a means to come out and play. The biggest flaw is that the screen was a pain in the neck to put together but alas it did not defeat me and to celebrate my victory over an inanimate object, I built a fire that would have made Tom Hanks in Cast Away proud (ok maybe not that impressive).

looks good, definitely not super durable. it will last 2-3 summers at the most. came with a cover and i would suggest using it. but it does look nice, if you use it occasionally its fine. for constant use, go for something much more durable. got free shipping and a percentage off. paid about [..] which was good for what i want it for.

I purchased this fire pit as a Christmas 2008 gift for my best friend after doing quite a bit of research on different sizes and ease of portability. I wasn't sure what to expect since you never know when ordering online. When the final product was put together, I was impressed as to the look and quality of the pit. It comes with a screen and a cover to utilize when not in use. It breaks down to 3 pieces so if you want to move it to another locale, it is easy to do. I look forward to spending several southern nights relaxing around the fire under the stars.

I AM A 39YR FEMALE AND I ASSEMBLED THE FIREPIT MYSELF. THE ONLY PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED WAS THE TOP. IT TOOK 30MINUTES WITH THE TOP AND 10 MINUTES WITH THE BASE. THE FIREPIT IS A LOT BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT. I AM VERY HAPPY I MADE THE PURCHASE.

Super simple to put together, and much more imposing than the photo. The base is larger than I thought, and it is taller as well. It is a beautiful focal point for an existing patio and because it is so unique in design, and somewhat larger than most, it looks richer and just a lot more substantial. Looks more expensive, with better design and functional storage. Don't hesitate to buy it. I bought 4 others and returned every one of them as I am pretty picky about design, but assembled this, and this is the keeper!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this fire pit. It looks extremely nice. Im anxious to use it, havent been able to because we are in the middle of a heat wave, Its easy to move around. We love it!!

I purchased this for my husband as a Father's Day gift. It was easy to put together, looks exactly like the picture & holds plenty of firewood. We are very satisfied.
