Very worth the money if you want to make home made bread. I have made my own bread for years but it is very time consuming with a 2 and 4 year old. This take most of the work out of it for you! You just put the ingredients in and you're off! It does take some experimenting to figure out what recipe suits your needs but I love it. If you want to make a life style out of healthy home made, preservative free bread this is for you! The recipes that come with the manual are ok, but the ones on www.allrecipes.com are the ones I am using. Makes a MOIST, LIGHT whole wheat and rye bread. And GOOD! Took me a few loaves to figure out the right stuff but that's ok. I am now going to make several batches of dough and freeze them so I can just pop them out, defrost and bake! Can't wait to try the jam!!! Go for it!

My husband and I love to make homemade food as much as possible, so we decided to buy a bread machine. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, but we had high expectations for quality of both the machine and the bread. All I can say is, we love this machine! What a nice surprise. It's super easy to use (the manual gives great, brief instructions for everything you need to know, along with several recipes) so you can get started right away. And it doesn't involve any complicated parts. But best of all... the bread is awesome. It doesn't have that weird shape or texture that some bread machines produce. Something really great we just did was setting the timer when we left for work in the morning and coming home to a fresh hot loaf of bread in the evening. The machine looks good in our kitchen, was very reasonably priced and makes great bread. We give it two thumbs up! :)

I have had this for about a year and love it! It's easy to use, comes with a booklet full of yummy recipes and the pan cleans up so easily! We have made bread, pizza dough and cinnamon roll dough and all of them have consistently turned out great! I highly recommend this!

I used it mainly for making doughs, such as bagels,preztels,etc. The motor burned up after having it for three months, only used it maybe 15 times and they wouldn't replace it because I didn't have my receipt. I received it as a gift. Also the rubber feet on the unit were uneven, and it vibrated every time I used it causing it to move on the counter. I had to keep an eye on it for fear it may vibrate off the counter. Definately not satisfied with product or the company beacuse of the warranty.

This was one of the greatest buys I've done. I have made white,oatmeal,rye,banana bread, and oatbran dough for pizza. All came out great. You can make all sorts breads. you can get alot of recipes for breads at all recipes . com also alot of others

I recieved this machine today and was very excited to use it except the paddle did not fit the breadpan. I called breadmans customer service and was told there were no paddles available not even on backorder and the only solution was for me to take this machine back to Target. What a waste of time and money. I will be buying a different brand of breadmaker next time and wont even bother with breadman!

We are totally in love with this breadmaker! We bought it with one of the gift cards we received for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! In fact, it's being used as we speak because the loaves turn out so delicious that they disappear within days. Since this is our first breadmaker, we don't have anything to compare it to, but let's just say that we're tempted to buy another one in case they stop making this one and we need a new one years down the road.

This machine is more than adequate as a bread maker. The loaves cook up well and the operation is simplistic. The recipe guide is like most other breadmakers--better to use this machine in a warm environment and you need to increase the yeast amount if you want your loaves to fully rise. As a dough maker--I would prefer to use my mixing machine over this--you can take the time and liquify all ingredients(butter, margarine, cream cheese, etc) and it will work well--my preference would be the mixer....I have yet to try it for jams--I would imagine that again the mixer would be a better machine for this. This is good for bread--stick to the basics and you will be happy.
