This item shipped fast. It arrives assembled. All that is needed is to remove tape from the bin openings. The large black square in the photo is a small window so you are able to view when the rice is getting low and needs to be refilled. It sits in the corner of my tile kitchen counter, and my only complaint is that when it is full of rice and I push it across the counter to put it back in its spot, the rubber feet come off of the bottom. (There are 6 rubber feet)Basically I have to lift it to move it, or some of the rubber feet will pop off making it uneven. Other than the problem with the feet popping out I am happy with the product. It's simple to use and its mechanics don't warrant any type of special cleaning or maintenance.

my family eats 3-4 cups a rice a day. being an Asian family we eat rice at every meal. growing up my family had a huge water cooler like rice dispenser. so once i got married my wife and i went on the hunt. this was the only thing we could find and it amazing. we love it keeps the rice fresh and puts out perfect cups. it takes a whole 4 seconds to fill the container. you open the bag or rice and then the container and pour it in. that's it, its great we love it

THIS THING IS BIG AND CLUNKY AND SO NOT USEFUL THE TIME IT TAKES TO PULL IT OUT AND REFILL IT WITH RICE I COULD HAVE COOKED THE RICE
