At first I was dissapointed the kit had seemingly so little TO it, but it didn't take long to realize that it's because it's NOT a complicated system requiring a bunch of confusing, hard to clean equipment.

I had concerns, as I wasn't a very experienced food preparer, of my ability to commit to making baby food at home - but after watching the DVD and giving it a try, I found using the system very easy and a HUGE money saver. Not only did I love the fact that I knew exactly what was going into my daughter's belly, but it saved us hundreds of dollars in food costs, and I am NOT exagerating.

The recipe/how to book and DVD are very informative and easy to follow, the trays are extremely durable (dishwasher safe, and they don't warp or discolor either), and the baby food pops right out of them with no problem after running a little warm water over the bottom. I only wish we had more trays (the kit comes with a set of two trays with lids), as it would make large batches much easier to process. I will be buying an extra set of trays for our second baby.

Lastly, when you are done making baby food, the trays work great for ice making when you don't have a designated ice tray area in your freezer - the lids keep them from spilling, or getting freezer crumbs in the cubes. Some also use them for craft storage (beads, buttons, etc) afterwards as well, thanks to the airtight lids.

Very informative, straightforward and handy tool- takes all of the guesswork out of preparing your own baby food. A great money-saver, and easy instructions on the DVD. We will get many years of great use out of this kit!

I love, love, love this kit! I used this for our first daughter and will be using it again for our second one when she starts fruits and veggies. Making my own baby food is so much cheaper, not to mention healthier. It's so simple to do.

This is such a cool product. I am VERY concerned about nutricious eating for my baby and do NOT want to feed her jarred baby food. This product steps everything out so you can do it yourself and it's not hard. It really is SO EASY! I have given it as baby shower gifts and will continue to do so for all my friends. I feel so much better knowing where her food comes from and that it's healthy for her. It makes me feel like a better mom.

I've been looking for something to help me with making my son's food. This is a wonderful, easy to understand kit. The DVD is very helpful and the cookbook is great too. I've bought another cookbook just to get more recipies and ideas but still use the one that came with this kit the most! LOVE IT

This kit takes what sounds to be an overwhelming task to some (making your own baby food), and breaks it down in a very simple format. The nutrition guide is helpful, the trays are convenient, and the cookbook is very easy to read, providing lots of great information and food combinations. I really look forward to using this system as long my son requires.

The kit is overpriced for what you receive. The DVD is a word for word regurgitation of the book. You will need a food processor to puree food - a blender does not work unless you turn it on for 5 seconds, scrape it down, and repeat for about 20 minutes. That cannot be good for a blender. Food processors are expensive. The amount of food needed to puree down to get two ice cube trays filled is a large amount.

There can be no way making your own baby food is more cost effective by using this kit. It takes much longer than the 30 minutes claimed. And I doubt it's really any more healthy than the baby foods offered at the store. Overall, I'd say get a book at the library before you pay for this.

As a mother of two, I wanted to be able to give my newborn son the freshest and healthiest foods, but didn't have the time to labor over nutritious meals every day. THIS KIT IS WONDERFUL!!! It is so easy to do a huge variety of foods that I actually look forward to going to the market to pick new fruits and veggies I can make!! I never worry about what to feed the baby these days because I have a freezer full of delicious fresh foods made by me!!! It makes me feel incredibly confident and happy to be doing this much for my baby in so little time!
