My daughter loves to watch the animals go 'round and 'round but once you wind it up it only plays and rotates for all of 30 seconds. I also think it is boring since only the animals have color.

My son laughed and giggled at first but would easily become dissapointed when the song stopped. I would run to wind it up constantly and then the winder got really stiff so I had to back up the winder (rotate it backwards for a while). I think he's kindof bored with it but he still enjoys it for a little bit. I think it's cute so I gave it 4 stars.

Buyers beware. I received this mobile as a shower gift and it broke the very first time that I used it. The plastic hook that holds the winding mechanism snapped off and the mobile fell into my crib. Luckily I tried it out before using it over my baby. One would think that a product that is designed to hang over your baby would be better constructed.

Very cute mobile; however, when fully wound up, music and mobile rotation only last for about 2-3 minutes. Spend a little more for a battery-operated one!

I was really excited when I recieved this as a shower gift and my son loved to watch the animals go round and round (even though it didn't last but maybe two minutes on the timer) but after about a months of use the hook snapped while in use and it fell on my 9 week old son's head. I suggest getting a better built mobile so this doesn't happen to your child

My baby is absolutely enthralled by this mobile. I got it when she was 9 weeks old and she has loved it from day one. The hooked part of the arm is not quite long enough so the animals hit the straight part of the arm as the mobile turns. Also the part the holds the mobile to the crib is kind of bulky, so I couldn't put it on the side of the crib against the wall.

We got two of these since we're expecting twins. Both are exactly as pictured (the heads of most of the animals really do hang down to "look" at baby) and they were literally a snap together project (no tools required) with a sturdy-feeling end result. I like that there is a switch to stop the mobile to not have to wait until the music slowly winds itself down.

The only drawbacks are that there isn't a good way to make the support post vertical if mounted to a crib with an angled side like the other products (though the animals still hang correctly since they're weighted evenly). And one of the two sets had dark (almost dirty looking) stars on the circular musical motor part that won't wash off to look pure white like the other one.

So, I love this crib set. My son is due in November, and I can't wait for him to use it...but I love love love the set. I also ordered the mobile, but when I went to put it together, it was missing the screw part that holds it all together on the crib!! So I'm going to have to send it back.

my son stares at it & laugh but he laughs at everything ............i hate it.. i thought it was cute when i saw it at target when i think about it i should of got the one ith the remote...its unsafe ...once i turned it it fell on my babies head = X and so did my hubby..so i got tape and made sure it wont slip out...7 i hate gettin up and twisting it.. i wont recommed it .. go for the other stuff
