We bought this when my daughter was less than 2 months old. She is now 10 months, and I cannot even remember the last time this was out. She was never really all that interested in it. My 5 yr old son likes to play with the giraffe and the tree though. There just isn't much to do with this toy. The tiger is hard plastic and sings for just a few seconds. It is too narrow to allow them to roll over without getting onto a hard plastic edge. The toys were too high for my little one to reach when she did play with it. All in all, I would spend the extra money and get the more expensive version if you really like the Rainforest things.

I thought this play mat would be a good thing to have for a newborn...but I have found that it is BORING. Other than the white tiger who plays 2 tunes...the rest of the mat is nothing special. I went ahead and bought the more expensive Fisher Price activity/lights rainforest gym and it is much better even though it cost a bit more. I say spend a little more cash and get the Rainforest Activity lights/gym instead.

I opened the box and returned it the next day, I was expecting so much more. There are so many other similar products out there that are much better. I liked the one made by Bright Stars. The baby really liked it.

The only good thing about this play mat is the colors. the pillow it comes with is very useless. i cant see how a baby can even lay its head on it!! the zebra only play two very short songs about 10 seconds each. my son was very bored with this thing from the day we received it.

Im sorry but I just dont understand this thing!

Its just akward!
I have been laying my son on it since he was 4 weeks old for floor time. He crys after less than 5 mins.
He is now almost 4 months and he still is bored with it!! It was a gift and Im glad I didnt spend money on this. I would rather lay my baby on a soft blanket and play with him and his toys myself

I love this playmat. It is so adorable and extremely functional. My daughter loves it, and has since she was only a month old. Now she is 3 months and can reach up to play with the hanging toys. It is part of our nightime ritual. I would highly recommend it!

My daughter got this as a gift when she was 2 months old and still loves to play with it (shes 4 months now). She loves to "beat up" the tiger and make it play music, and when she has tummy time she loves to make faces at herself in the mirror. Great Buy

(we have it arranged differently than they do in the picture, the giraffe and tree are in the back while the tiger is in the fron slot)

This was okay for the money, but as others have said, "kinda pointless." There's not much for them to do on it. They can't really reach the toys, and it is really narrow, so they can't really move around on it. We tried it for about a month, but my son really didn't show any interest in it. I wish I would've spent the money and gotten one of the bigger gyms with more stuff to do. Disappointing compared to all the other rainforest items.

My son has been using this since he was 2 months old. He's 4 months now and still loves it. At first he couldn't make the music play but now is a pro at it. He loves it. Will keep him entertained for 30 mins at a time. It seems like it will grow with him and hopefully he'll get many more months of use out of it.
