There is nothing not to like about the Aroma kettle August 18, 2008 Reviewer:  karen in nyc (new york city)  See all my reviews >

I've had this kettle for over a year and I still love it. I've had other, more expensive, kettles in the past and this one is my favorite. I love the retro design and it is easy to clean. Great value and a great product. I hope the model is still available if and when my current one dies.

Weird noises after 2 months of use July 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Yulia Kolomenskaya "BusyMommy" Real Name (Baltimore, MD, U.S.A.)  See all my reviews >

We've had this kettle for 5 months now, and 2 months after use it started producing very loud noises, and after 4 months of use it started whistling when turned on, we had a different kettle which started whistling 5 years after use when finally stopped working, but this one is new and already produces problems. Very bad product! There is a 1 year warranty on this kettle, but they want $8 for shipping to return this kettle to them. Not worth the money!

thought kettle was great until it broke April 27, 2008 Reviewer:  Sarah (San Franscisco, CA)  See all my reviews >

This kettle did the job of making hot water just fine until just after the warranty period expired. Then, the little plastic switch broke right off. It's a shame this kettle is really cheaply made, because we were happy with it until then. Making hot water once a day shouldn't make your kettle break in a year's time, and I encourage people to consider other models if they want a kettle that is worth its money.

The Best!! December 20, 2007 Reviewer:  Happy Owner See all my reviews >

This kettle is absolutely great! I am a student, and I drink tea constantly. This kettle boils water so quickly. It has no metal coils inside; I hate those coils that start looking horrible after a short time. You can clean the inside easily. It does not feel cheap at all. It is by far the best electric kettle I have ever owned, and I owned a few throughout college and now grad school. I would highly recommend it!!!

Great bang for the buck... April 28, 2008 Reviewer:  Saffie "USA-RSA" (USA)  See all my reviews >

I love my electric kettles as I grew up with them in South Africa and when I found this inexpensive one that did everything I wanted it to I was thrilled!!

I've had it for at least 6 months now and I love it.

Don't be surprised if you see what you THINK is water leaking...when the lid is raised water runs down the lid and the arm of the kettle.

We're thrilled with this purchase.

BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD! March 9, 2008 Reviewer:  JesusIsLord&Saviour "KnowJesusKnowGod" (Nashville, tn USA)  See all my reviews >

I've been using this puppy all day everyday for the last year and haven't had a single problem. It's all automatic and no plastic taste like the other units. No more radiation from the microwave for me. This thing is a huge time saver and looks great on the counter.

Great at the start... September 3, 2007 Reviewer:  Jacqui C. Poznoski "jacquipoz" Real Name (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA USA)  See all my reviews >

I had loved this kettle when I first got it. However, after 3 weeks the auto turnoff switch stopped working so I had to manually turn it off which defeats the purpose of the kettle. I am returning it tomorrow.

So Far So Good!!! April 20, 2008 Reviewer:  MSM See all my reviews >

I bought this kettle about 5 days ago and I'm really happy with it. It takes very little space on my very small kitchen apt. counter. It's stainless steel inside and out and boils water in less than 5 minutes. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it's pretty loud while it's heating the water.

Dead On Arrival February 4, 2008 Reviewer:  Jason Rieg Real Name (Mountain View, CA)  See all my reviews >

The fit and finish of this kettle is good. A stainless steel unit at this price is a real find. However, when I got the unit home, the on/off switch would not stay on. This is likely a problem with the temperature activated shut-off mechanism. Knowing that the automatic shut-off is problematic on many kettles, I'm skeptical about Aroma's design and won't replace this one with the same unit when it is returned.
