Works Great for My and Baby's Needs August 16, 2007 Reviewer:  Debonna (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

I was given an original Boppy as a baby gift while pregnant but returned it because the slipcover couldn't be removed for washing. We used the Newborn Boppy with my son, but once he started outgrowing it (around 4.5 mo.), I knew I needed a traditional one so he could use it for tummy time and support when learning to sit up. I saw this item at Target and loved the design/colors. I was also interested because it had the "miracle middle." I am a size 16/18 and need the extra stretch. Although I wasn't breastfeeding when I first bought it, it was nice to put around my waist and lay my son on it when bottle-feeding. He would get so comfortable he would fall asleep. Now he uses it for playtime when sitting up, just in case he falls backwards or to the side, he doesn't bang his head on the floor. I've washed the slipcover a couple of times, and it still looks great. I always turn everything inside out to wash, and I think that helps preserve the quality of your items. I only give 4 stars due to the price...it's a bit steep, and extra slipcovers are also expensive on their own.

My second boppy May 30, 2008 Reviewer:  RN4EVER "happy couple with their first dyson" See all my reviews >

I had to buy another one because I love it so much.
One in the nursery and one in the family room so that I don't have to keep lugging it around level to level.
The baby- who's almost 5 months old loves to lay on it, tummy time and sit up. Washing the cover is easy and looks like brand new.

Mom's Don't Be Discouraged.... March 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Xander's Mom (Midland, TX)  See all my reviews >

I used a boppy with my daughter who is now 4. I only nursed her for a few weeks so after that it was just used for her to lay on. I was also discouraged because when my daughter was first born the boppy did not provide much support for her. I was basically holding her myself or I found myself slouching over so she could lay on the boppy. Now with my 2 1/2 month old son, who I am currently nursing, I am using it as well. Same thing at first, it did not provide much support. However, now that my son is a bit bigger it is awesome! It provides alot more support for my son and it helps with having my hands free to do other things. I love it. So, moms don't be disouraged at first....Your little one will grow into it!

Couldn't do without September 3, 2008 Reviewer:  M+E=R (VV, Ca)  See all my reviews >

I don't know what I would do with out my boppy! If I didn't have my boppy my arms would be hurting from holding my son while breast or bottle feeding. He can also lay on it while the pillow is around my waist with out his head flopping back like if he were across my legs. I also use the pillow in between my knees when I am sleeping! I also used the pillow to sit on after coming home like a donut when I wasnt feeding.

great for breastfeeding July 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Working Mom "Lizann L" (Stafford, VA)  See all my reviews >

I am a size 12, and this pillow fits me just fine. When the baby was newborn, it was a little low and I had to support her head with one hand while breastfeeding. But now she is 2 months old, and 11 pounds, and she can lay across it very comfortably. That frees up one hand for me to hold a drink, or play with her fingers and toes, etc. I sometimes use regular pillows instead, but the boppy definately gives the best position for baby. I have also used it to prop her up to play, keep her from rolling off the couch, etc, and I am glad it is good for so many purposes. Oh yes, and the removable cover is essential! :)

For small ones April 21, 2008 Reviewer:  Cooking mom "Brandi B" (Ogden, UT, USA)  See all my reviews >

I had very high hopes for this product however, if you are not a small person it does not go around you. I had a c-section and needed support. An ordinary pillow worked better. The only plus was that my daughter did like to be propped up with it when she started to sit up.

Good Product November 12, 2007 Reviewer:  First Time Mom "Karen" (California)  See all my reviews >

I received a Boppy as a baby shower gift. I wasn't able to use it when my baby was just born (for the first 2 weeks) becuase she was too small and didn't reach my breast. Now, I can't live without it. It's great for breastfeeding, and I hear it is great when your baby is learning to sit. The only negative is that I find it very difficult to breastfeed without it. I think I was too dependent on it that I didn't learn different breastfeeding positions, so now I'm in the process of relearning how to breastfeed without it.

very disappointed July 19, 2007 Reviewer:  new mom "farrah" (arkansas)  See all my reviews >

I was so excited to get my boppy after all the hype from everyone. However, I was never able to comfortably use it when breastfeeding my son. I had to put a pillow under it in order for it to support him while he ate. Maybe if you're bottle feeding it might work but otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

MUST HAVE! October 31, 2009 Reviewer:  mom2quinn See all my reviews >

I am a first time mom and this pillow is a must have. If you do not buy any other baby product you must buy this!I absolutely cannot live without this, don't know how anyone ever has. Use it for feeding, while just holding baby, propping up baby. My little man has even napped on it, although the manufacturer does not reccomend that. I also picked up the spare cover, they come in cool styles.

Chair with arms needed! August 6, 2009 Reviewer:  Angels Sigh (Bedford, TX)  See all my reviews >

Once we found out how much we liked our Boppy, we had to buy two, one for the nursery and one for the living room. After struggling with my tiny, 5-lb baby to get her positioned just right, I discovered how difficult it is to use without arms on the chair. If I used it on the couch, I put folded blankets underneath to get it in the right position for her. It works perfectly for us in our glider. I can't tell you how much I miss the Boppy when we're out of the house!
