This brush set fell apart within the first month of use. While a great concept, the spongy part is not secured well to the base and will shred easily.

The only problem that I have with this product is that the yellow part of the sponge turned a nasty brown color after I sprayed some Clorox clean up on it. I had to throw it away bc it ended up looking unsanitary. I did keep the smaller brush bc it is so good for getting at the the top of the nipple.

This brush set does a good job cleaning the born free bottle, oddly shaped nipple and venting system. We use the brushes daily. The smaller brush is used more so it falls apart sooner. Will last about 3 months. We are on our second set. I will recommend this product to a friend.

I have used this set for over a year now, and only the tip of the small sponge has come loose from the handle. But is still in place and still works great. However, I am breastfeeding and don't have use for bottles every day, so that may be why they have held up better than others. They have not turned any odd colors, but i squeeze the water from them and sit them upright to dry. The large sponge can even be cut so it fits into bottles with small openings, such as the bottles that come with the Medela pumps.

The two stars that i am giving this brush is because it does clean really really well especially the born free glass bottles HOWEVER... for the price it falls apart way to quickly. mine also turned a nasty brown color, this product is poorly made which is a shame. the twisting feature was also very cool another good thing. overall i am not happy with this product.

Big brush is a large sponge that cleans Born Free wide mouth bottles very well. It is too big to fit smaller bottles of other brands. It started to fall apart after I used it to clean the breast pump adapter I bought from Born Free website but it is still useable.

After 3 uses, the sponge fell apart and peeled away from the plastic stem. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this product.

I have tried 5 different brushes and this has met my needs best. In fact it is the only brush that has met all my needs.
The strength of this set is in the smaller nipple brush. If you use systems that take disposable liners (Playtex and Avent), you don't even need the bigger brush.

Pros:
- Great for getting in the little spaces of Medela pump components. Really, the only brush I have found that can do that well.

- Does not scratch pump components, bottles, or brushes.

- Great for easy cleaning of bottle nipples. This is true with the larger Avent and Paytex nipples, and the standard sized Evenflow nipples.

- Has held up better than other sponge brushes (i.e. Munchkin) I have tried.

- Available at Target and other baby stores, not just on-line.

Cons:
- The larger brush is good for bottles with big openings (i.e. Avent), but needs to be cut to size for standard sized bottles (i.e. Medela and Evenflow).

-A bit pricey.

- Need to replace every few months, just like any other brush, for sanitary reasons.

This set is great for Born Free bottles, but too large for other bottles or breast pump accessories. I have had no issues with tearing or discoloration. The nipple brush is great too. I've used mine for 1+ years and it's still working well
