...but the lid doesn't fit! The lid has several different openings for different types of pours, but we've had trouble getting the lid to fit snugly. The three stars are for the rubbery grip on the bottom which doesn't let the cup slide around on the counter top.

This a great measuring cup. Added to the classic Pyrex measuring cup our parents & grandparents used are a couple of great features. 1) Additional graduations that can be read while looking down into the cup. 2) The no slip silicon ring on the bottom is great. 3) The lid with three different pouring options, plus a fourth "off" position. Unlike the previous reviewer, we've had no problems with the lid coming off. For us it fits very snugly and actually snaps in, so you know when its secure. (We have two of these 2-cup and a 4-cup measuring cup and the lid is secure in all three.)
Add the typical Pyrex features of being oven, fridge, freezer, microwave & dishwasher safe, the benefits of non odor absorbing glass, and no fears of chemicals (BPA) leaching into your food, and you have a clear winner. We've gotten rid of all our plastic mixing bowls, food storage containers, and chemical heavy "non-stick" bakeware and are converting to the good old quality of Pyrex. You get what you pay for, and Pyrex is definitely quality that lasts! My mom has been using it for 50+ years. And that's the best endorsement there is.
