This was a last minute addition to our registry and we received it as a gift. We put this on our son's car seat from the time he was 2 mos old in Oct. up until he was 7 mos old in April. We live in NYC. It keeps the baby very warm and there is no need for an additional blanket. It washes well and is easy to put on and take off of the car seat. As my son got older it was easy for him to push down the flap, leaving his chest and arms exposed. I would prefer if the sides zipped up a little further or better yet if there was one zipper in the front instead of two on the sides. But it served its purpose. It's definitely a good buy and very attractive. We received lots of compliments.

My husband takes my daughter to daycare and we had been using blankets. He hated that because if the wind blew, so did the blankets. So I searched and searched for the perfect car seat cover. This was it! I am so pleased with this bundle bag. It costs a little more but it is well worth it. This it my favorite item I have bought for my daughter and the most useful! It is lightweight compared to the original bundle me, but still very warm. I don't know what we would have done without this. I think I am going to have to purchase the next size when we need it because I love this one so much.

Not only is this item perfectly safe, but it is safer than putting your child in a bulky snowsuit or jacket and strapping him into a carseat. This and all Bundle Me buntings allow the safety harness to rest snugly against your child, ensuring a proper fit. Bulky snowsuits do not allow a carseat's straps to tighten adequately -- in an impact, the snowsuit "collapses", creating space between the harness straps and your child. This can allow a child to slip out of the harness and can result in injury or death. The Bundle Me has passed tests conducted by the NTHSA, who concluded that the bunting did not interfere with the harness straps. In my opinion, the JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me is safe, cozy, comfortable and well worth the money.

The photo does not do it justice it is wonderful! We bought one of the larger carseats so the cover we had for our little girl didn't work. This fits any size as well as the stroller. Great product!!

I disagree with the previous user who says that this product is not safe. They are tested to FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) 213 requirements (according to their website) and that is more than you can say for the other brand you listed. The back part is a very thin lining which does not interefere with the harness at all. I can tighten my son just fine, and I remember with my older children, we would have to try and close the harness around a jacket or a big blanket - I can't see how that is a safer alternative. I can understand if you choose not to use one, but trying to scare other parents is irresponsible.

I love this cover. I have used three different covers and this was by far my favorite. I never had to put the baby in a bunting and it seemed like he didn't get overheated this way. We live in Michigan so cold winters... this was perfect! The zipper makes it easy to take the top blanket on and off for temperature changes. It's August and I still use the base part for comfort. I have washed a number of times and it still looks brand new. I highly recommend.
