Not too impressed December 28, 2007 Reviewer:  Chazlyn "Chazlyn" (Pittsburgh, PA)  See all my reviews >

I am being generous with 3 stars. I bought this after reading the other reviews on other websites, but, sadly, I wasn't as impressed with it as they were. It does NOT come with dough hooks (at least mine didn't), and it only comes with one bowl, even though there is a slider on the front that you move for "small or large bowl". I used mine over the holidays for simple things like frostings and I constantly had to stop the mixer to scrape everything from the outside of the bowl and move it back into the center to be mixed completely. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a stand mixer if you have to mix it mostly by hand anyway. One of the beaters has a little white plastic piece on the bottom to move the bowl in a circle. That didn't work so well for me either. The bowl kept getting stuck.

I think I will save my money and get the KitchenAid. You get what you pay for and this one, in my opinion doesn't compare.

Not Bad at all March 17, 2009 Reviewer:  DWD (near Emporia, KS)  See all my reviews >

I received this as a wedding present almost 21 years ago. Just now the motor has burned up. After 20 years of using it 6-9 times a year, I feel that is pretty good. I have found it to do a very good job on mixing cookie dough, even large batches (120 cookies), and on quick breads. When I got it, it came with 2 bowls, a large and small one, but it doesn't now. I never did use the bread hook (that came with it). I do have to scrape the sides of the bowl or it doesn't get properly mixed in, but there is plenty of space for me to do that. I am considering buying it again as a replacement, since it lasted me so long and it is very reasonably priced.

Save you money!!!! October 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Cake Decorator See all my reviews >

I bought this mixer thinking I would save on the Kitchen Aid and instead I wasted my money! I have used it maybe 5 times the the motor burned out on cookie dough. And very SOFT cookie dough! I had not even gotten all the ingredients into it yet. This was my upgrade from a $ mixer I used from 8 years for cakes, icing, cookies, you name it with no problem, (and yes, the same cookie dough recipe), but was something "more powerful". SAVE YOUR MONEY! It is going to cost just as much to "fix" it as to buy it again! Is there anything lower than one star? If you do a lot of baking like I do, save you money!

not worth it! October 13, 2009 Reviewer:  Savvy Shopper "Alli G" (Long Beach, CA)  See all my reviews >

I drove all over town trying to find a Target store with this mixer in stock, and rushed it right home to try it out once I found it. I couldn't even use it ONCE because one of the beaters will not lock in at all. I was mid-cupcake with no back up. Talk about disappointment. I am returning it tomorrow and begging my family for a kitchen-aid for Christmas. :(
