I ordered three of these lamps online to put on my kitchen counters as an alternative to under-cabinet lights. They use a 60-watt bulb so they provide decent accent lighting in dark spaces, and they look very classy when the overhead light is off. They're only 13 inches high so they fit well under the cabinets. The base is wood and the shade is cloth. I would order more if I had anywhere else to put them.

I like this lamp quite a bit. It's rather small, but it provides good light. I was a little disappointed to find that the lamp base is not actually wood, as the website says, but polyresin. it still looks pretty nice, but you can definitely tell it's not the real thing.

This little lamp definitely serves its purpose if you need a cute and practical lamp for your bedroom or nursery. It's not fancy or particularly sturdy, but it's attractive and serves as a satisfactory source of soft light.
