Love this coffee maker! March 16, 2008 Reviewer:  D. A. Donnelly Real Name (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

Bought this one on sale, and it's great--easy to use, makes good coffee, and I love the programmable features. Nice having automatic shut off, too, as I'm bad about leaving my coffee maker on. For $19.95, you can't beat this.

Looks are not everything! February 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Jen "Jen" (Rochester, NY)  See all my reviews >

This little unit is really cute and hey it even looks great for just one person. I bought my first one and the darn thing had a short in it so I had to return it. I really liked the looks of it so I thought lets try it again. So I returned the one with a short and bought another one. The 2nd one had an issue too. Everytime I poured a cup of coffee it would drip. MESSYYYYYY Ugh Well I returned this one. Found a Mr. Coffee 8-Cup (Different Store) and it works wonderful. I wouldn't buy Black & Decker Coffee maker..... Hope it helps. =)

Great choice for the price November 19, 2008 Reviewer:  CajunGal "Dana" (Lafayette, LA)  See all my reviews >

I received this coffee maker as a wedding gift. I am the only one that drinks coffee so it is the perfect fit for one person. Very easy to use and I have never had any problems with it. I also love the automatic shutoff feature as well as the stainless steel carage.

Broke in less than a dozen uses January 8, 2009 Reviewer:  K. Carlton Real Name (Dallas, TX)  See all my reviews >

So unhappy....clock does not set and therefore timer cannot work. There is some kind of short which requires you to push the brew button maybe 5 times in a 5-cup cycle. I had used it fewer than a dozen times.

Very Disappointed January 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Texana See all my reviews >

This is incredibly poorly designed. Made to sell, not use, I guess.

CONS: Cannot see the "water window" to know how many cups you have put in machine; no marking on carafe to see how much water there either. On/off light not visible to me. Only way to know coffee is made is to listen to "hiss" of coffee maker since you cannot see through carafe. You cannot remove the carafe while brewing in process as brewing will not stop.

PROS: Coffee tasted fine. Size good for small family. Looks OK.

Terrible Design September 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Malachi Constant (Central New Jersey)  See all my reviews >

I bought this because of its 5-cup capacity and stainless steel coffee pot. The 5-cup capacity is great for me, but I didn't realize until I used it that I prefer being able to see the coffee in the pot even if someday I accidentally break the pot. But the overall design is not good. Controls are on the side, where they normally aren't seen. The off/on indicator light is tiny and barely visible. And the water level against a black background is very difficult to see. I bought it yesterday and I'm going out to look for a replacement for it today. It's just too annoying to use. And could they have made the lid for the pot any cheaper?

Everything it promises to be... January 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Debbie See all my reviews >

This is a great little cheap coffee maker. It is easy to use and makes a fine tasting pot of coffee. I don't find the side controls annoying, like other reviewers did, nor did I find the water level indicator hard to see and I don't have an extremely bright kitchen. Also, coffee cups are not the same as mugs (I believe a coffee cup is 6 oz), you will probably only get two mugs out of it, so the 5 cups is correct. I rated it 4 stars because it doesn't feel super durable, but if you treat it with care it should last a while. I believe it comes with a 1 year warranty. Overall a great purchase, and I recommend it if your in the market for a cheap small coffee maker.

Great coffeemaker for the price! October 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Bimshire (Miami, FL)  See all my reviews >

I bought this coffeemaker a couple of months ago on sale and it makes a great cup of coffee. I haven't had any problems with the unit and the programmable feature is a wonderful way to save time in the morning.

Yes I will admit it is a little difficult to see the water gauge with the black background but I know how much water to add to the carafe to make the perfect amount of coffee for my travel mug. Setting up the unit is simple and it's compact design allows it to be tucked away when not in use. Great buy for [..]!

Poor Quality July 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Nancy A. Wagner Real Name (ohio)  See all my reviews >

Worked for 2 weeks, threw out box and receipt then it stopped working. Not a leg to stand on. Poor quality!

Rusts... July 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Cindy M "Cindy M" (Georgia)  See all my reviews >

I liked how it worked but it quickly began to rust on the bottom. I ended up pitching it because of the rust that was developing on the bottom. I also didn't like that the on/off switch was not easy to see.
