Works great until it quits. Mine quit 3 days past the 1 year warranty. Unless you need a simple component you can't get these fixed. My Roomba had a memory hickup and decided to just clean a 2 foot square. Found out it was stuck in the spot mode. I removed batteries and reset and/or cleaned every thing available to no avail. I called iRobot for help. Their response ---- BUY A NEW ONE!!!! Everything else was in good condition and worked perfectly just a memory problem. iRobot's cannot be repaired. The factory will not repair nor offer any help if is is more than a brush, wheel, cover or small profitable part.

I bought this about a year ago and I still LOVE it. I have 3 dogs and this is the perfect answer to all the dog hair. I clean it and take care of it (as the instructions say) and it continuously performs great! I just turn it on and leave for work and it is back in its little docking station when I return!

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about getting this vacuum because I read so many mixed reviews. The truth is that it works, and works well. You do have to clean it often – I clean it every time I use it and have not had any problems with it at all. I hate to vacuum and now I don’t have to because this does it for me. The only down side I can say is that it is a little loud, but what vacuum isn’t?

I bought this vacuum about 6 months ago and at first I thought it was great. However, as time went on, it wanted to be cleaned every 30 seconds and picked up everything it wasn't suppose to. I have cleaned it the way it said and babied it, but it is not as effective as the traditional type vacuums. I won't buy one again and unless your house is pretty empty with a lot of free space, it's not worth the effort.

The only reason why I rate the Roomba at a 4 instead of a 5 is because it can't do furniture. I've had my current Roomba (who is running right now actually) since early 2005. My Roomba started out just having to deal with family traffic and a chow's fur, but now also tackles the bedding that gets on the floor from our two guinea pigs. Seriously, what complaint can you have for a machine that has your floors clean when you get home from work and you didn't even have to bribe your husband?

My parents, brother, sister, and I have all had roombas and they all died within 3 years. Mine lasted the longest, but of course the warranty was up and they couldn't help me.

This vacuum works good at first then it breaks in some way. I have taken mine back three times now to get replacement ones. I am taking this last one back to get my money back. Every one of them the brush on the bottom has broken, first the little red ends start to break off then the brush just stops moving. It is not worth the money since every single one that I have gotten, even the replacements have broken. Just stick to your regular old fashion vacuum

I bought this roomba because my neighbor had one and said it was amazing and that i had to have one so i did and it is awesome i love it. it works amazing on both carpet and hardwood floors I think if you dont like to vacuum this is a must have.
