I too bought this grill from Kohl's because the price was so great. I should have known better. There is no consistant heat so very frustrating when you are using this appliance to "save time."

My husband got this for me for Christmas. I was thrilled at first, then I took it out of the box. The first problem was the akward size/shape. It wouldn't fit on any of my shelves in my cupboards. There are thick wires coming out the back of the grill so you can't put the back of it flat against the wall.

I used the griddle to try to make grilled cheese. The heating is very inconsistent. It took 30 minutes to make a grilled cheese. It was good when it finally got done but it took far too much time.

I was going to try to use the grill plates before I decided if I wanted to take it back. When I got the grill plates out of the box, I noticed the non stick coating was "bubbled" in one corner. It looks like when they sprayed on the coating it didn't dry properly. I didn't even try to use the grill plates.

I put everything back in the box and it went back to target. Very disappointing. Now I'll just buy the toaster oven that I really wanted instead.

I highly recommend you purchase another brand. I've never heard of this brand and nowhere on the box does it say Sensio brand. The box says Bella Cucina Artful Food.

The clip that holds one of plates broke after using it once. The writing above the dials rubbed off after using it once. The non stick came off after washing it once. It will be returned because we are scared to see what happens if we use it twice. The paninis we made did turn out nicely but it is not worth it due to the poor quality of this appliance.

1st one I bought, one of the clips for a grill plate broke off just taking it out of the box. Exchanged for another one, and it worked great for about 2 days. Then would not heat up at all. Terrible quality.

I bought the product [...] and it came about two hours ago. I've already used it to make pancakes which turned out perfectly. I love that the lid clicks all the way open and flat onto the table for an extra cooking surface. I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about-it seems like a great problem. The plates pop in and out fairly easily and clean well. It's lightweight, yet sturdy. So far, an excellent product!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas because the Cuisineart version is twice as much. And I got what I paid for. The labels around the dials started coming off the first time I wiped it down. It griddled pancakes fine but when I tried to use the grill, it would not heat very much...I could put my hand flat on it on high and not get burned. I'm taking it back and after reading the other reviews, I'm just going to put out the money for the one I should bought to begin with.

The labels came off after 3 uses. I guess they put a lot of thought into quality control on this product...NOT! I really expected more out of a product that cost.

Also bought this at [some other store] on sale last year. First time I used this the button that allows this to open flat broke off. The coating on the griddles is very thin and scrapped off with a gentle scrubby meant for Teflon. The heating is very inconsistant and you have to constantly rotate the foods around on the surface to get everything done at the same time. The wells are not deep enough and burgers overflow the edges with grease. The writing on the knobs wiped off when I used a hot dishrag to remove the grease that overflowed on them.

I love making panini's and this one works fine, I tried to cook bacon on it and it took along time and still was not done to my liking, so that was not so good. They don't tell you that you can open up the lid and cook on both the top and bottom grill. I use this grill/griddle every day, and I love making up new recipes for lunch. This week is pizza panini week! So enjoy
