Fantastic April 1, 2008 Reviewer:  NavyPilotWife5 (Kingsville, TX, USA)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I tried this out today (our baby's not due for a few more weeks). He stood facing the oppisite way from the monitor and I had one of the receivers in another room. He was whispering very softly and I could hear very clearly what he was saying! I also really like that you can turn the volume all the way down and still see that there is noise coming from the transmitter by the blinking lights...I highly recommend this monitor set!

works like a charm January 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Erica M. Russo "russo_e" Real Name (Baltimore, MD USA)  See all my reviews >

Our baby is 9 months old now, and we've never missed a cry with this monitor, nor have we ever felt the need for a video monitor. We had a little trouble with static initially but all we had to do was change to one of the other 9 channels... I wonder if the people who have had trouble with static maybe had the 2-channel rather than 10-channel monitor. It also packs up neatly and travels well when we visit family.

FIRE HAZARD April 22, 2007 Reviewer:  Mommy K See all my reviews >

I went to unplug the base unit so I could bring it with me on a trip, and I found that the plug was toasted brown and hot to the touch. This really scared me and made me wonder how long until a fire started in my baby's room! This is NOT ok. DO NOT buy this monitor. It's not worth the risk to your baby.

Do NOT spend your money on this January 21, 2009 Reviewer:  HJ "HJ" (Charlotte, NC)  See all my reviews >

I do not recommend this item at all. We've used it for two months now, and it does pick up every little noise our baby makes, but it also picks up static and little beeping type noises. it worked great for about the first month, but this second month it sounds like a little motor boat some nights and we have gone through all of the channels hoping to find a quiet channel, and all still have static and the beeping sound. some nights it works perfectly, and other nights i feel like throwing it out the window. we've finally had enough of its extra noises and we're looking for another monitor. we've turned the monitor on and off, changed the channels...everything we can think of-and it still makes extra noises. enough is enough!

Great monitor September 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Lisa (Norfolk, VA)  See all my reviews >

This monitor works well for our family. The range is amazing. It will pick up sounds from downstairs sometimes! I like the red lights that light up with the intensity of the sound. It's great when you aren't able to hear (like in the shower or starting a load of wash) and the lights will catch your eye. They light up on both sides, too so you can have the monitor in the middle of the kitchen. You can turn it down too at night if you want. The battery life could be a little better and you can't leave it plugged in all the time because you're not supposed to over charge it, that's the only down side.

Okay monitor... June 4, 2007 Reviewer:  Mom of twins "Heather" (Vienna, VA)  See all my reviews >

I actually do love the monitor - as long as we're on the same level. I can hear everything, every slight movement and their breathing. The problem I have is with the second receiver. We have it in the living room, directly below the nursery and can't use it. Sometimes we can get the signal, other times we can't. I just had to sit here with it and turn it off and on 20 times just to get the screen to appear. Then, another five times just to be able to get some of the channels to come in. After ten minutes, I finally got it to work. It's plugged in, so that's not the problem. It's really quite frustrating! Now that it's on, though, I can hear the babies crystal clear.

What a waste of $$$$$$ May 30, 2007 Reviewer:  Motherof2 "margo B" (NSP, MN)  See all my reviews >

I can't believe Fisher Price has not recalled this product. I was reading the last 50-70 reviews and they all sound the same.

They all seem to stop working after 6-9 months. The base on mine stopped working, and the LCD channels will show up. This product is a complete waste. Buyer's beware.

Awesome! October 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Beatles Mom (South Dakota)  See all my reviews >

We bought these after I read the reviews on here, and I love them. We've had no issue with picking up our neighbors...about 9 of them who also have newborns. It has amazing reception, and we can even go outside with them and still hear everything.
DH sleeps through everything, but the lights on the monitor always wake him up before the sound.
Buy them. They are amazing and worth every penny.

Best Monitor ever!!! January 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Pinkmommy (Illinois, US)  See all my reviews >

I got this as a baby shower gift and my baby is now 2 months old and we love this monitor! We have helicopters fly over our house several times a day and this does not interfere with the reception at all. I can go anywhere and here the baby. If you want to hear every sound of baby like breathing you have to have the monitor very close to him/her. I can here the baby over our t.v. when it's loud. I would recommend this to any one!

So far, so good December 16, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of Five (Sammamish, WA)  See all my reviews >

We've had this for three months now. So far this monitor has worked perfectly for us. We've had no problems with static. We don't use the batteries, so I can't comment on battery life - we just leave it plugged in.
