We bought this DLX model for my vehicle and the LX model (black ice color from another retailer) for my husband's vehicle. They are incredibly similar; the boxes are identical. However, my DLX arrived today, and I plan on exchanging it for another LX. The LX has more plush fabric and a little more padding. The DLX is noisy; any time my son shifts his weight, the fabric/padding is going to make little crunchy sounds. Annoying. Plus, the LX is cheaper.

I recently bought this car seat (in a different color) for my 15 month old who just now hit 20 pounds and is able to be forward facing in our van. This car seat, although bulky, is easy to install with the LATCH system. I feel very good about the seat being totally secure in the seat. The seat is VERY comfortable for my little one...she is able to fall asleep and lean her head against the side of the seat instead of having it flop forwards. I'm actually thinking of getting another one for my son, who is 2.5 years old, and in an older Evenflo seat w/o LATCH. I highly recommend this seat!

Not only do they look nice in my car, the boys were right at home. Both boys outgrew their carriers about 5 months old and these were perfect. I was told the most important thing to look for in a new car seat was the recline because I was worried about their necks when they slept. These both recline and their head position has never been a problem.
They are on the larger side as far as width goes, so our oldest can no longer fit in the back with them, but small price to pay.
They were very easy to convert to the rear facing position and just as easy to adjust the straps at any time.

After extensive research on car seat safety I bought this evenflo triumph because it was rated high for safety. This evelflo was right up there with the Britax car seat for safety but the prices were extremely different. Therefore I choose to buy this one over a Britax to save money. What a mistake! I am very disappointed in this car seat because the red plastic pieces on the top of the shoulder straps cut into my son's neck. In addition the plastic chest buckle does not work properly and it is hard to unlatch due to the cheap plastic used to make the buckle. I am now buying a Britax to replace this car seat, and wish I would have spent the extra money then and bought a Britax versus this piece.

My parents bought this car seat for us because our 6 month old has outgrown his infant carrier/car seat. So far we love it! It was very quick and easy for my husband to install, and it's very easy to adjust the straps. Our son seemed to be very comfortable in it too. I would recommend this car seat to anyone!

We have used this seat for my son since birth. He is now two years old and we still love the seat...however, the faux leather or vinyl part of the seat is starting to rip. With a change in the fabric, I would definately by this seat again.

I spent a lot of time reviewing convertible car seats before purchasing this one, and I am extremely happy with it. The tension knobs on the side are so nice (instead of having to break your kid's arms to get them in & out of the seat, you just loosen the straps to take them out, and once they're back in, turn the knob and it tightens back up), especially when dealing with bulky clothes. The car seat is easy to install (there are videos on the evenflo website if you find the instructions difficult), but it is a large (wide) car seat. My son hated his infant seat, but he never fusses or fights me when I put him in this seat. We've been using it for about a year now, rear facing and now front facing and it has been very simple. I am glad that this is the only car seat we have to buy, and it should take him to about 5-6 years old.

I purchased this seat for my son when he turned 1. He is now 16 months and tall for his age. He loves the seat. He actually sleeps better in it than he ever did in his infant seat. It was very simple for my husband to install. My only complaint is that it is a little bulky, but since I have an SUV, I really don't mind.
