We received this seat from a friend one week ago. My baby is 7 weeks old and has a rather strong neck. This seat has been perfect to allow him to look around while having a little neck support from the back of the seat. he definitely needs supervision because eventually he will slide to the side. He also has digestion issues and being upright allows him to feel much better and be in a better mood!

I initially liked the chair because it is light and easy to clean. My son is now 5 months old and I had to throw out this seat due to safety concerns. He started to arch his back while in the chair and almost flipped out. If I had not been standing right next to him to stop him, he would have probably fallen out onto the floor. I looked up the seat on a consumer product website which says that there have been several serious injuries to children who use this product due to kids flipping out of the chair. The company's remedy is to send you a bright sticker to attach to the chair that warns against using on an elevated surface. Elevated surface or not, I don't want my son flipping out of the chair onto the floor. I threw out the box so am not able to return it, but I would not recommend this product.

We got this at our baby shower from a friend, who just swears by them. My baby is very active, and didn't like sitting in the bumbo unless being fed cereal or food. It's okay if your baby would stay content for longer bursts of time, but it just didn't hold my active baby's attention for too long. I would recommend waiting to buy this after you have learned your baby's temperment.

Got this for my daughter who is 4 mos. It's great for giving them a different view and opportunity to practice sitting up. Easy to clean and lightweight.

However, I agree with another reviewer who had safety concerns. My daughter also arches her back and seems like she could pop out of it by leaning back too far. My solution is just to never walk away when she's in it.

I sent this as a gift for my grand daughter, Sophia Grace, my daughter says it is used everyday. It's really handy to take anywhere, to the sitters, on trips, picnics or just out in the back yard. this makes a great baby gift.

I RECOMMEND THIS.MY DAUGHTER IS 3 1/2 MONTHS AND SHE LOVES SITTING IN IT!ITS STURDY AND I'VE EVEN USED IT WITH THE TRAY AND PUT HER TOYS ON IT.ITS GREAT FOR MANY USES,SHE HAS NEVER HAD ANY BAD EXPERIANCES IN IT,LOVE IT LOTS!! KUDO'S!!!!!

I bought this as a baby shower gift... I received one for my baby shower, but my little guy is not due for another two weeks... so I actually haven't used this product yet! All of the moms I know recommend this.

Our daughter was 2 months when we bought it for her. She has pretty good head control and was getting bored sitting in her bouncer or her swing since she couldn't see what was going on very well. She loves it! It helps her with her head control and she sits in it for about 15 minutes to 20 minutes at a time. She'll probably sit in it longer when she has better head control. She does spit up pretty much everytime I sit her in it. She has reflux so this really helps her after I feed her and let her sit in it. She is less gassy and less irritable. Def. will get the tray since all she does is sit there. We did push her lil activity thing in front of her, and that helped a great deal with entertaining her.

Light to carry around, sturdy, and easy to clean, the Bumbo chair is a must-have for any new mother. It stabilizes babies into a comfortable upright position and can be plunked down onto any safe stable surface. Great for situating baby while you do little chores. So helpful for those first spoon-feedings. We love all the bright happy colors but decided on Lilac, our favorite.
