Too Small February 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Kristy See all my reviews >

I was really looking forward to having this seat. I knew that I would not get to use it too long but my son who is 4.5 months could not even fit his little legs in it. He is large for his age but is 18lbs (4 lbs under the suggested weight limit). Seems like a good concept but if you have a large child it will not work for you.

Great product but just be cautious. February 8, 2008 Reviewer:  mommy of ray and berk (washington)  See all my reviews >

I started using this when my daughter was 2 months old and it was great she was a little wobbily it helps her gain muscle to get her ready to sit up. Well now she is 6 months and she has manage to twist and turn her body so much that she has fallen out of it. Luckily she fell on the carpet but it could of patentually been bad. And yes I know it has to be on level surface in which she was on. But just be cautious when baby gets older to where she can twist and turn.

Too Small for Big Baby June 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Aidan's Mom (Charlotte, NC)  See all my reviews >

I have only heard great things about the Bumbo Sitter. I bought one today for my 4 month old. It will be taken back today as well. After about 30 seconds in the seat his legs and feet started to turn purple! The seat was cutting off his circulation! The packaging says it can be used for kids up to 14 months, but my 4 month old is clearly too big. All of the parents that rave about the seat must have skinny babies. My chunky baby is just too big.

LOVE it ! June 5, 2008 Reviewer:  happy mom (indy)  See all my reviews >

i bought this for my 4th baby, it was a real splurge but almost everything else she has is hand-me-downs. i spent $40 and it is worth every penny. she is in the seat a lot and seems to love it. i started putting her in it at around 12 weeks and she would just sit there and look around, taking everything in, she is now 7 months old and is still so content to sit in it. i feed her baby food in it (on the floor, not on a chair), it gives them a little freedom to move around without falling over, although i can see when they get older the Houdini-types might be able to wiggle out of it, i would recommend

The little man thinks he's big stuff in it! July 2, 2009 Reviewer:  G. Gutierrez Real Name (San Francisco, CA)  See all my reviews >

This was instrumental in helping my son learn to sit up. It doesn't work well if you put it on your bed, because it will tip over, so it's ideal for the floor. I fed him in it a couple of times but found that the highchair just worked better for feedings (duh). Also, he will outgrow the Bumbo soon enough. Overall, it's good for teaching him how to sit-up and play with toys. (We have the tray too, and I couldn't imagine not having it!) He really likes it. I wish I used the Bumbo more but we have so many activity gyms for our first born son (the exersaucer, etc.).

Awesome! February 13, 2009 Reviewer:  Loving Mommyhood See all my reviews >

The Bumbo is the best, my daughter sat in it from 3 mos. until she was about 12 mos. It really helped her learn to sit up and helped strengthen her neck muscles, too. Very easy to clean. I will use it again. Highly recommend.

Fabulous for first-time mom July 29, 2009 Reviewer:  First Time Mom "Keren J" (Texas)  See all my reviews >

This is a great teaching chair for my 3-month-old, who knows how to hold her head up. She likes to sit and watch what we are doing, and sometimes she sits there and plays with toys. I wish it could be used as a bath chair, but nothing's perfect.

Great Chair July 23, 2009 Reviewer:  City Girl "MH" (Louisville, KY)  See all my reviews >

My son is 6 months old and I wished I would have gotten this chair sooner. He constantly wants to sit up! It's much easier to plop him in this chair than strap him in his high chair so a lot of times I feed him in this chair. It wipes clean easily as well. I have to be careful about setting toys within his reach because he will lean to the side or forward and put too much pressure on his tummy and will spit up. But if I put his toys on an elevated surface we don't have that problem. I would have bought the Bumbo with the tray but my Target store didn't have it available.

Lightweight, portable, worth the money July 8, 2009 Reviewer:  First Year Mom (Garland, TX USA)  See all my reviews >

From birth my baby girl has wanted her independence. She wanted to sit up on her own (though her body wasn't ready). She would get so frustrated that she couldn't be independent. At 2 months, I purchased this Bumbo chair. She loved it. Since she still couldn't fully support herself, she didn't stay in it for too long - but she still loved it (even when she was slumped over). She's 4 months now and has much better body control. Whenever she is fussing to be independent, we set her in the Bumbo and she is happy to sit and look around.

This is a great product that goes with us to grandparents' homes and other places. Love it!

Great chair! July 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Savvy 30-Something Female Shopper (CT, USA)  See all my reviews >

My son loves sitting in this. It gives him a whole new view of the world versus laying down or sitting in a reclined seat. It helps him continue to build his neck muscles. Also great for reading stories to the little guy. He sits right up and looks at the books! The green is a pretty mint color.
