I bought this mattress pad at a Target store in New York. It felt ok to the touch (not great, but not awful either), so I bought it since I don't need anything fancy. What a mistake! I brought it home and washed it exactly according to the instructions (cold wash, tumble dry low), and that basically made it unusable. Several threads came apart already in the washer. And after it came out of the dryer, the part that goes on the sides and under the mattress became all scrunched up and hole-ridden. The worst part is that is shrunk by at least 4 inches, so it wouldn't fit my full size mattress. Avoid this thing like the plague!

I bought this at my Target store. I have a new to me full sized guest bed, and wanted a basic layer between mattress and sheet.
The mattress pad feels unnatural to the touch - more like a plastic than a cotton.
It is extremely "baggy" on the mattress. I looked online to see the reviews... and noted that other customers have had issues.
I wish I could find the reciept. I will return it for store credit, and perhaps by a better quality one...

This mattress pad no longer fits our mattress after only 2 washings--it shrunk so much that we literally cannot stretch it enough to fit. It was a complete waste of money.

I agree with the person who said that this feels unnatural to the touch - it has a very plastic-like texture that kept me from being able to feel the soft pillow-top on my mattress. I am returning it and hoping to replace it with an all-cotton one.
