Do not buy these. I bought a different model 2 years ago, it lasted exactly one year and the screen stopped working (you could hear the sound). Took it to a TV repair shop since the shipping was so expensive, no parts available in the US to repair it. So I broke down and bought this one, lasted 5 months (of course, out of warranty), same problem. Target needs to work on a better warranty for electronics or just stop selling them. There is obviously a problem with the manufacturer and no one will stand behind them (mfg. or retailer). I do not know about you all, but I do not want to throw away $300 on something that should last years and years. I still have a TV I bought 12 years ago that works perfect, what has happened to this industry?

We have had good luck with our TV. I would recommend this to anyone, if fact we are looking at getting one for our parents!! I love that the screen is 12" that was one of our concerns. The screens moves enough so we can watch it when sitting at the table, counter, by the stove, and most of all doing the dishes! Makes my time go by faster in the kitchen! We have used the DVD, Radio, TV and have not had a problem yet. It has been a year for us and I would buy another one.

I bought the 12" Audiovox the day after Thanksgiving last year. It was great all year. Exactly one year later, the day after Thanksgiving this year, it would not turn on. I enjoyed it while it worked. Guests had complimented it on Thanksgiving Day.
Now I called Audiovox and they want [a lot] for me to ship it back plus pay my own shipping to see if it can be repaired. (Only 3 month warranty). If not repaired will be replace.
So I went out a bought another one instead. The picture on the new set was terrible. Like a cloud in front of everything. I will have to return it. Picture on original set was 80% better. So if it's not one thing it's another.

After searching for several years for an under-cabinet TV that was actually big enough for me to see, I finally found this one. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I use it with rabbit ears and the HD reception is excellent. The volume is fine, as is the DVD player and radio reception. I've had it for 2 months and so far am thrilled. I will admit that it does seem "fragile" so I do handle the screen gently when I change the position. So far so good! It was well worth it for us.

This tv has been a solid performer for us since we bought it one year ago. We use the TV daily and the radio regularly. Have not used the CD/DVD player much, but it has worked fine the times we have used it. For the price you get a very large flatpanel compared to other under counter units and the picture quality on ours is good. I can't comment on the units made this year, but we liked ours enough that we are giving one to my mother this Christmas. Hopefully we will not have the same problem that the person who bought one after Thanksgiving last year had, but so far so good. As a frame of reference, more people are likely to complain if they get a bad unit than those who are satisfied, so while not denying that there are some bad units out there, keep that in mind.

This is the second Audiovox 12" we have - the first for our primary residence, this one for our vacation home. We have a combined use of about six months with no problems.
The picture is stunningly sharp and bright and, like our name brand big screen TV, is able to decode some HD channels from cable even though we don't subscribe to HD at all. The over-the-air HD is just as good. Although we use the DVD player very little, it also works great.
This seems to be the largest under-cabinet TV available. Indeed the screen is as wide as the unit itself. It also seems to be the only one we have found that is HD capable.
So far we have not encountered any of the problems others have reported so we recommend this TV if you have a need for an under-cabinet unit.

Previous owner of inexpensive unit (<$100) without TV screen. Upgraded to TV unit. We were very disappointed in poor sound as well as poor picture from TV. We recommend this item with two thumbs down. +$300 should purchase a more superior quality product than this one. It lasted a half day before we returned it. Thank you for your time.

I purchased the 3 year warranty for this TV because of the negative reviews. I purchased a different brand that was recommended per reviews and was very disappointed because it was not cable ready. I had to return that TV and have taken a chance on the Audiovox 12". I am very pleased with its performance thus far. The TV has a good picture for being small and the unit is very user friendly for transitioning from the TV to DVD to radio. I would recommend this ... but again, I did purchase the 3 year extended warranty due to other reviews that were negative. One of the few positive reviews I read,said to remember usually if you feel negative about a product you are more inclined to write a review, which prompted me to make sure to give this review.

The first set I got drove us and the dogs crazy. When the TV was off it had a very high pitched squeel it was not AS BAD when the TV & Radio were on but we just couldn't take it so we returned it to our local Target and they were out of stock so we had to drive over 40 miles to replace it (I must admit I am a bit spoiled by the large screen). So we installed the 2nd set and it did the same thing but after a day it stopped and all is good so far.
