I chose this diaper pail after reading tons of reviews on different ones, and I've been very happy with it. It is about knee high and fits nicely next to the changing table. I like that you can use the foot pedal and just drop diapers in with no need to twist or tie anything, and the odors stay in. It's easy to tie off a bag when the pail is full and start a new one (the system uses one continuous bag that you cut and tie off as needed). The first bag lasted 2.5 months (needed to tie off a new one about once a week) and the refill wasn't hard to install.

I have this one and the Diaper Genie 2 Deluxe, I prefer the other one, but this one isn't bad. The picture is deceptive, this is only about knee high. We use it on the floor of the house that we don't change as many diapers in so it lasts about a week before we need to empty it.
