We went to Lake Tahoe from 12/24 - 28. After the big storm on 24th and 25th, the snow was more than 2 feet on Boreal resort. My 5-year son had no problem with this pair of boots. The ankle is flexible, and they kept his feet warm all day! We also had another similar pair for our 20-month daughter.

weak stitching

My 8 year old wears wore these for about 3 weeks and the whole front seam has split open. The top of the boot slouches down and lets snow in, even when tightened. I wouldn't recommend these for a child who is going to play in the snow.

Just went to get these boots from storage and realized that the front seam is split. If you put your finger inside, there is only a thin layer of a felt-ish material aside from the thin waterproof layer (that has now split open). Hate for boots to only last one season (about 4 months).

I bought these for my 5yr old son they did last a few months but then the front seem has started to come undone and I hate to have to buy new ones in the middle of winter. Well I got what I paid for because they were cheaper then the others. I won't buy them again.

My son has used these boots maybe 6 times, and now the stitching along the seam on the part just above the toe is coming apart. Very disappointed.
