Luggage built by Skyway Luggage. Eddie Bauer name is licensed only. Bag has a great layout and great storage. The bag is right at the current maximum airline check-in size. Easy to overload weight wise so be careful. Very poor build quality however and not meant to hold up to airline baggage handlers. First problem (quality problem), zipper pull on extension handle compartment came off immediately when I tried it at home (no time to return). Second problem (wear and endurance problem), one of the 4 side pouches ripped away completely from the bag compartment in the very first leg of my flight (content lost). Third problem (design problem) - top carry straps are way too long; get caught in baggage loading machinery, plus 4 side pouches (which are very useful) stick out from sides of bag too far (see problem #2). This bag is VERY overpriced for build quality and travel endurance. Recommend you find an alternative with better build quality. My Eagle Creek rolling duffel (no drop bottom however) has weathered 5 years of heavy travel usage with no problems whatsoever. I will be contacting Target, Eddie Bauer and Skyway to try and receive some refund or replacement accmmodation. I will modify review if successful.

Poor quality zippers and wheels

I agree with the previous review completely. This is a really nicely laid out bag with a lot of room. A few too many zippered compartments, but what's really bad are the wheels and zippers. I tried to baby the thing to make it last, but the wheels lost chunks of rubber and I lost the pull tab/zipper head off the shoe compartment on the first trip. This despite tags that tout the solidness of the wheel design. One even bent off to the side slightly.
Target was a good sport about it, and accepted the return, crediting my credit card without trouble.
Do not buy this bag unless you only plan light duty for it, and even then, don't spend more than the it goes on sale for sometimes.
