It is clear from the reviews that these people have never used other products. My household has three Zunes and my daughter got a nice docking system for an ipod for bday. So I gave it a shot.
Talk about feature poor compared to what you pay. I could spend half the money for same features (unless you count a name as a feature).
Or for the same money I can sync wireless, have FM with tad so that when I hear a song I like I can download it when I get to a wifi spot (free wifi access is abundant), not be held captive by itunes (oh, don't get me started on the cost of itunes vs. unlimited downloads for around [...])
If you don't need alot of features, save money and buy one of the many other products for less than a few dollars. If you want features, get a Zune for the same price

(I bought this same thing except it's purple, I fist reviewed on silver, and, SUPRISE! It shows up on all of them, including purple. Confusing, eh?) and I LOVE it! The videos and pictures are crystal clear, and the music sounds perfecto! (I haven't tryed audiobooks yet.) The only stinkish things are that if you turn the volume up or down super fast it sounds just a little weird,(maybe it's just the headphones) and sometimes while your listning to a song, coverflow comes on and sometimes it's hard to get off. But don't let that stop you from buying this rockin' new iPod! The new editions add a lot!

My old mp3 was a battery sucker and froze all the time, so i got this ipod (my first ipod ever) for christmas. Itunes 8.0 is easy to understand and i love how all you have to do is shake your ipod and it shuffles the songs for you. The picture for music videos is amazingly clear and the games it comes with are fun, but if i can make a recommendation, id say spore origins is the best. I always play it while im listening to my music. If you dont play games, the battery life is greattttt. But games do suck batteries, but slowly. So dont worry about that :-) If you want to splurge on an easy to use ipod, this is the one to buy :-)

I would recommend this product to anyone. I love the fact that there are many different EQ's to choose from. The iPod has GREAT sound quality and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I have had it for two days and I will never buy anything other than iPod. I also love the fact that you can put full length movies on here. BUY IT!!

I bought this iPod a week or two after it came out in purple. I absolutely love it! It has awesome features and great sound quality. WAYYYYYY better than my 1GB 1st generation iPod nano! Recommend it to anyone looking for any type of mp3 player. Only bad part is that i'm having trouble finding slightly inexpensive cases. Most are expensive (over my teenage budget at least!)
